When future historians congregate to conduct their postmortem of the short-lived Biden administration, what date will they pick to mark the crisis that signaled the beginning of the end? I’d like to offer October 4, 2021 for consideration.
In the weeks before, it is true, Biden’s approval rating had been in free fall. (Fun pastime if you’re bored: enter ‘Biden’ and ‘free fall’ into your favorite search engine). There was the world historical disaster of our evacuation of Afghanistan, the nearest parallel to which was not America’s ignominious departure from Saigon in 1975 but William Elphinstone’s disastrous evacuation from Kabul in 1842. There was the unfolding crisis at our southern border. The President insisted that the border was ‘closed’ (in the same way that he said that the cost of his doomed, $3.5 trillion spending plan was ‘zero’), but his own officials are prepping for a surge of 400,000 illegals in the month of October. Inflation is at a 30-year high, with no end in sight. Gas, food, housing, clothes: the prices of all are skyrocketing. The President came to office promising to ‘shut down’ COVID, not the country, but since he took office some 250,000 people have died and ineffectual mask mandates, vaccine mandates, St-Anthony-Fauci-certified mandate mandates have proliferated like pussy hats at an anti-Trump rally.
Several weeks ago, writing about the incineration of 10 innocent Afghans (including seven children) in an errant drone strike that the lying US military first said had killed an Isis-K operative, I pondered the proverbial expression ‘the straw that broke the camel’s back’. Some trace that expression back to Thomas Hobbes, but I suspect the germ of the idea is much older. The basic idea, of course, is that an accumulation of evils is bearable up to a certain point, beyond which even a tiny addition, apparently insignificant, brings sudden disaster.
I wonder if Attorney General Merrick Garland has just supplied the proverbial straw that will send the camel that is the Biden administration crashing to the ground.
Garland was supposed to be a moderate. The Washington Compost assured its readers that there was a ‘98 percent probability that Merrick Garland is “in between” Ginsburg and Scalia. In other words, that he is comparatively moderate’. One of my friends even wrote that he was a ‘superb’ choice to be attorney general.
I wonder what he thinks now? Garland has been a willing collaborator with all the most egregious actions of the Biden administration. But on Monday October 4, he wrote a memo that will will go down infamy. I think it was Chris Rufo who first reported that Garland has instructed the FBI to mobilize against parents who oppose critical race theory in public schools, citing (completely unnamed) ‘threats’. The National School Boards Association had complained to the Biden administration, describing the protests as a ‘form of domestic terrorism and hate crimes’. In response, Garland outlined a ‘Partnership among federal, state, local, tribal, and territorial law enforcement to address threats against school administrators, board members, teachers and staff.’ A ‘partnership among federal, state, local, tribal and territorial law enforcement’: think about that.
Again, no specific threats were adduced. What’s really at issue here, as Mary Chastain notes at Legal Insurrection, is criminalizing dissent. ‘Actually,’ she writes, ‘they want to figure out how to deal with parents who have the nerve to be involved in their child’s education.’ Like Biden facing resistance to his vaccine mandate, Garland finds his ‘patience wearing thin’ and orders the coercive apparatus of the state, including the FBI’s Criminal Division and National Security Division, to bear down on parents who have the temerity to question the racist indoctrination of their children.
Chastain quotes another LI commentator, Jeff Reynolds, who outlined the strategy:
‘The school board and superintendent organizations calling for federal law enforcement appear to be preemptively playing victim here instead of responding to a legitimate threat. Of course, this follows with the Biden administration’s focus on white supremacists as the single greatest terrorist threat the United States faces today. An overblown fear of domestic terrorists makes for a great diversion from the parents across the nation with legitimate questions about what their kids learn at these schools. The NSBA seems to have forgotten that, as elected officials, school board members are not supposed to be the bosses — the parents are.’
The reaction to Garland’s memo has been quick and furious. Will this episode be the turning point, the straw that broke the back of President Ice Cream? Coupled with Biden’s response to the harassment of Sen. Kyrsten Sinema, who was followed into a public bathroom and filmed by shouting activists, maybe so. That, Biden said, was ‘part of the process’. But parents opposing the insinuation of Marxoid ideas into school curricula: that must be met by nationalizing the police power of the state and stomping down on any resistance as if it were an instance of ‘domestic terrorism’. I am going long on tar, feathers, and pitchforks, also lampposts.
Parents should just go into the meetings dressed as Antifa with Antifa banners as they address the boards. Then, they will become an exempt political species.
The Holocaust is happening again right in front of our eyes!
Yes, I think the end of Israel may indeed come through auto-genocide via submitting to lethal injections.
Attorney General Merrick Garland’s daughter is Rebecca Garland. In 2018 Rebecca Garland married Xan Tanner [LINK]. Mr. Xan Tanner is the current co-founder of a controversial education service company called Panorama Education. [LINK and LINK] Panorama Education is the “social learning” resource material provider to school districts and teachers that teach Critical Race Theory.
Attorney General Garland’s son-in-law is Alexander Tanner, aka “Xan” Tanner. Mr. Tanner is currently the corporate secretary of Panorama Education Inc. Panorama promotes and profits from CRT and gender ideology indoctrination in schools across the country.
Publicly available corporate data shows billionaire oligarchs have invested as much as $100 million in Panorama. But Panorama’s website suggests a business model that depends on payments from credulous school boards using hard working American parents’ local and federal taxes. Panorama and its billionaire investors, it seems, aim to profit by “transforming” America’s children through woke indoctrination, while sticking their parents with the bill.
Accordingly, Mr. Tanner’s financial interest in a business that benefits from CRT and gender ideology indoctrination might render the Attorney General’s participation in measures to promote or protect such activities, including the October 4, 2021 memorandum, ethically problematic.
Attorney General Merrick Garland insists he is still committed to ensuring his office's investigation into Hunter Biden is conducted without political interference – despite bombshell claims the Justice Department head already thwarted the probe.
In his April 2022 testimony before Congress, Joe Biden's Attorney General said: 'there will not be interference of any political or improper kind' when it came to the investigation into the president's son.
But since then, a whistleblower has come forward claiming that a senior Biden administration official did, in fact, interfere with the probe – and DailyMail.com confirmed that the official in question is Garland.
The whistleblower, according to a letter from attorney Mark Lytle, says politics are 'improperly infecting decisions' in the probe into the president's 53-year-old son. ...
The whistleblower, who is alleging wrongdoing by the U.S. Attorney General is an agent of Internal Revenue Services (IRS) Criminal Investigations, which is headed by Chief Jim Lee.
As part of the ever-growing investigations against Hunter Biden, Republicans on the Oversight Committee have also reviewed IRS documents and Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs). They claim prove that the Biden family corruption and influence peddling has benefitted at least 12 family members.
U.S. Attorney for the District of Delaware David Weiss is leading the investigation into the contents found on Hunter Biden's abandoned laptop.
Jonathan Turley Accuses Merrick Garland of Criminal Obstruction to Protect Bidens and ‘Mislead Congress’
Legal scholar Jonathan Turley put Merrick Garland on notice and accused the Democrat President Joe Biden’s attorney general of criminal obstruction and misleading Congress. ...
Turley wrote:
“Now these whistleblowers are reportedly telling Congress that they were actively frustrated in their efforts to investigate as Merrick Garland was insisting that there was no interference or limitations.
“This included preventing an effort to search a guest house of President Joe Biden. IRS official Gary Shapley allegedly recalled that Assistant U.S. Attorney Lesley Wolf agreed that there was ‘more than enough probable cause for the physical search warrant there, but the question was whether the juice was worth the squeeze.’
“Wolf allegedly said that they could never get approval for the search despite the sufficiency of the evidence.
“Even more disturbing is the allegation that Delaware US Attorney David Weiss sought to bring charges against the 53-year-old in both the District of Columbia and Southern California last year and was denied both times.
“That directly contradicts statements made to Congress by Attorney General Garland,” Turley notes. ...
“There is also an allegation that Wolf gave Hunter’s legal team a ‘heads-up’ that investigators were moving to search his Northern Virginia storage unit and that Wolf again objected to the effort to secure a search warrant. ...
“However, this is far more serious than allegations of negligence.
“It would constitute a knowing effort to delay and obstruct efforts to investigate the Biden family — and to mislead Congress.
“The evidence also creates new problems for President Biden, who has repeatedly claimed as a presidential candidate and as president that he had no knowledge of any foreign dealings of his son.
“Those statements were long ago proven patently false.
“The laptop includes pictures and appointments of Hunter’s foreign business associates with Joe Biden.
“There is also a recording of Joe Biden discussing a Times report on Dec. 12, 2018, detailing Hunter’s dealings with Ye Jianming, the head of CEFC China Energy Company. ...
“The lack of curiosity of Democrats in Congress is only matched by the media,” he wrote.
“Now these whistleblowers are reportedly telling Congress that they were actively frustrated in their efforts to investigate as Merrick Garland was insisting that there was no interference or limitations.
Late last week, the U.S.’s evil grandmother, Merrick Garland, mounted the official podium and whined about all the people criticizing the Department of Justice. ...
Well, I guess that settles it then. Totally not biased.
Or possibly, that didn’t settle it, not for everybody. Yesterday, House Oversight Committee James Comer responded to Garland and claimed in a tweet the DOJ is actively obstructing the Committee’s ongoing investigations, and said Grandma Garland has single-handedly destroyed the DOJ’s already-waning reputation.
But the truth is, they don’t want to cure cancer. These grants are handouts, government largesse, designed to slyly reward loyal democrat supporters with millions of dollars packaged in vaguely-described buzzword grants with no way anyone can ever tell whether anything meaningful was actually accomplished to earn the money.
This, after all, is the primary function of all this racial and gender grievance nonsense. It’s all about creating excuses for government to transfer tax money to unaccountable and immeasurable leftwing causes. Just ask yourself why Merrick Garland’s family is in the business of creating woke textbooks for preschoolers.
It’s a morally-depraved, kleptocratic scheme, but you have to admit, it’s working.
The Case Against Merrick Garland is Very Simple
Someone is lying.
July 3, 2023
... Merrick Garland should be impeached because he obstructed justice and perjured himself trying to cover up his obstruction.
See? That wasn’t crazy or complicated, was it?
To be specific, Garland obstructed the investigation into the Biden crimes, then he lied about it to Congress.
Impeach him. It isn’t at all convoluted or confusing. It’s simple, good ole corruption and abuse of power.
Here are the very easy-to-understand details.
Merrick Garland testified, under oath, that he would not, in any way, impede the investigation of the Biden family led by U.S. Attorney David Weiss. He told Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) that Weiss had full reign to bring charges against anyone he desired, even if crimes were committed in other jurisdictions. ...
But, we’ve now learned from IRS whistleblower Gary Shapley that last fall, Mr. Weiss claimed he did not have the authority to bring charges, and when he asked for more sweeping authority (including to bring charges in other jurisdictions), he was denied. ...
Shapley also said Weiss claimed he couldn’t bring charges against Biden in Washington, DC, or Southern California, directly contradicting the Attorney General’s testimony. ...
Garland and Weiss, who have every reason to lie, claim Weiss had full authority to investigate and prosecute anyone for any crime anywhere. Shapely, who could have stayed in blissful obscurity at the IRS for the rest of his career, claims Weiss asserted the very opposite.
Someone is lying.
How will we ever know?
Well, it turns out Shapely sent an email to all parties who attended the infamous October 7 meeting. He sent it that very day when details were very fresh in his mind. Here’s a look at the email. ...
That’s a third person corroborating this account. All three have literally no reason for lying. Both Garland and Weiss, whom they contradict, have every possible reason to lie.
So… again: Someone is lying. The evidence points to the Attorney General.
So, there you have it. Very simple.
Garland obstructed the investigation and stood in the way of serious felony charges against Hunter Biden, the son of the president. He then lied about his obstruction to cover up his crime.
Obstruction. Perjury. Abuse of power.
Impeach Merrick Garland.
I wonder where these asshole snakes in the grass come from
Perhaps the final insult galvanizing all this sentiment in a song was Merrick Garland’s devious Friday afternoon announcement — when, theoretically, no one was paying attention — that he appointed US Attorney David Weiss as Special Counsel in the Hunter Biden matter. This is the same David Weiss, you understand, who oversaw the Hunter Biden investigation for the past five years before ascertaining anything that might be chargeable from a vast inventory of financial crimes with an overlay of documented sex and drug transgressions. The same David Weiss who let the statute of limitations run out on many of those crimes while he dawdled and frittered in Wilmington. The same David Weiss who cooked up a wrist-slap plea agreement on all this, with a hidden Get-Out-Of-Jail-Free clause inserted slyly in the fine print of the so-called “diversion agreement” that would have immunized Hunter B against any further inquiries — which Judge Maryellen Noreika discovered only by chance at the last moment, scotching the deal. (And yet, the government now claims that the diversion agreement — and Hunter B’s immunity from further charges — “stands alone,” is “in effect” and “still binding.” Hmmmm….)
This sort of in-your-face audacity sums up Mr. Garland’s reckless, lawless run as a rogue attorney general. But then who do you appeal to for relief? Anybody wondering why there is actually no justice in America these days need seek no further. By the way, the appointment of Mr. Weiss was patently illegal. The Special Counsel statute states plainly that the post can only be occupied by someone not in the employ of the government. Does Mr. Garland not know how this works?
What the AG also flung in America’s face was the “ongoing investigation” dodge that supposedly would allow the DOJ to avoid answering any congressional inquiries into Hunter Biden’s tangled financial crimes, which, after all, were committed in the service of the Biden family global racketeering operation. Has a cover-up ever been more blatant? And so now the time has come to impeach Merrick Garland for breaking the special counsel law and obstruction of justice. It’s pretty cut and dried, and it should be the first order of business when Congress returns from its August recess making the rounds of the county fairs. The second order of business should be the impeachment of “Joe Biden,” if he hasn’t resigned before Labor Day.
A Christian family is begging the Biden administration to intervene in their upcoming deportation after living in the US for 15 years seeking asylum from persecution in Germany.
Uwe and Hannelore Romeike fled Germany in 2008 after being threatened with prosecution for homeschooling their five children.
Homeschooling in Germany is only allowed in very limited circumstances, and the family was facing a $9,000 fine, so they moved to East Tennessee and filed for asylum.
Authorities denied their claim in 2013, with the family attempting to appeal the decision after the Obama administration challenged the initial ruling that was approved. They do not have citizenship in the US.
They have been able to live in the US for the last ten years under an 'indefinite deferred action status', but were told earlier this month they must return to Germany.
Their bid comes as millions of asylum seekers are pouring into the US near the Texas border.
In their initial argument, the family claimed that 'God was calling them to homeschool their five children', claiming that the 'anti-Christian' message in German schools was also a factor.
The couple are now begging the Biden administration to intervene in the decision after they were told to obtain German passports on September 6.
Calls for AG Merrick Garland’s Removal Mount over Special Counsel’s Biden Report
Calls have begun to mount for the removal of Democrat President Joe Biden’s Attorney General Merrick Garland.
In a stunning turn of events, the U.S. Department of Justice has cast a shadow over Biden’s handling of classified documents, though stopping short of prosecution.
The special counsel’s report questions Biden’s mental fitness, igniting a firestorm of criticism and debate over the implications for his presidency and the DOJ’s impartiality.
The inquiry into President Joe Biden’s mishandling of classified documents commenced in January 2023, spearheaded by special counsel Robert Hur, appointed by AG Garland.
This investigation was prompted by the discovery of Obama-era classified documents at Biden’s Delaware home and the Penn Biden Center office in Washington D.C., unearthed between November 2022 and January 2023.
Upon concluding the investigation, Hur’s report, released on a Thursday, confirmed that Biden would not face prosecution. ...
This unfiltered disclosure has drawn sharp criticism from various quarters.
Laurence Tribe, a professor emeritus of constitutional law at Harvard University and Biden’s former professor took to X to express his disappointment.
Tribe accused Garland of bending “too far backward” to maintain an appearance of neutrality, particularly criticizing the unredacted comments on Biden’s mental fitness.
Adding to the chorus of disapproval, Sara Spector and Robert Shrum voiced their concerns over Garland’s handling of the report.
They have been able to live in the US for the last ten years under an 'indefinite deferred action status', but were told earlier this month they must return to Germany.

Here's what Turtle had to say about him earlier this year, confirming him for AG:
Interesting how the same people are constantly brought up, almost guaranteed there is an inner Party.
