‘I Had to Stand up and Try to Do Something:’ Professor of Medicine on Suing School Over Vaccine Mandate

Dr. Aaron Kheriaty reacted to the COVID-19 pandemic like many other medical experts. He worked long hours as the United States tried to grapple with the new disease. He had too many conversations with family members whose loved ones were dying from it.

But as time wore on, he started noticing a pattern in public health decisions that seemed to diverge from traditional medical ethics, including an insistence that people at little risk from COVID-19 get a vaccine.

Kheriaty is now on suspension from the University of California, Irvine, (UCI) and challenging the school’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate in court.

“I had to stand up and try to do something about it,” the professor of psychiatry and director of the UCI Health’s Medical Ethics Program said on The Epoch Times’ “American Thought Leaders.”

UCI spokespeople declined to comment for this story.

‘Liberating’

Kheriaty contracted COVID-19, the disease caused by the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus, in mid-2020. His infection was confirmed by two different tests from two independent labs. His five children and wife also contracted the disease. They all recovered, with none requiring hospital care.

“It was, for me, actually a very liberating experience afterward, because I didn’t have to worry about the illness anymore. I knew the science on natural immunity,” Kheriaty said.

Natural immunity refers to when people contract COVID-19 and recover. Dozens of studies have documented that these individuals enjoy strong immunity against CCP virus re-infection. Some of the studies suggest the immunity is superior to that provided by COVID-19 vaccines, particularly the Johnson & Johnson one.

“I knew that at that point, I was among the safest people to be around, I didn’t have to worry about transmitting the infection to my patients,” Kheriaty said.

He continued taking precautions, wearing personal protective equipment like masks as required at the hospital. But he was confident he didn’t pose a risk to others, which served as a relief.

That relief turned into disbelief when, around a year later, the University of California system, which includes UCI, imposed a COVID-19 vaccine mandate.

Opt-Out is Temporary

The mandate (pdf) included a natural immunity opt-out, but only temporarily. People who recovered from COVID-19 were told they would only be exempt from the mandate for up to 90 days after their diagnosis.

University officials cited the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), which alleges that the antibody tests it has authorized “are not validated to evaluate specific immunity or protection from SARS-CoV-2 infection.”

SARS-CoV-2 is another name for the CCP virus.

“For this reason, individuals who have been diagnosed with COVID-19 or had an antibody test are not permanently exempt from vaccination,” officials said.

The mandate violated rights outlined in the U.S. Constitution’s Fourteenth Amendment, including equal protection and substantive due process, Kheriaty’s lawsuit asserts.

“Plaintiff is naturally immune to SARS-CoV-2. Therefore, plaintiff is at least as equally situated as those who are fully vaccinated with a COVID-19 vaccine, yet defendants deny plaintiff equal treatment and seek to burden Plaintiff with an unnecessary violation of bodily integrity to which plaintiff does not consent in order to be allowed to continue to work at UCI,” it states.

The situation creates two classes, vaccinated and unvaccinated, when a more reasonable division would be those who are immune and those who are not, Kheriaty believes.

“What kind of discriminatory policies do we have in place that are excluding someone like me from the workplace when I’m 99.8 percent protected against reinfection whereas someone who got the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, by the company’s own data that they submitted to the FDA, is 67 percent protective against COVID infection?” he said.

Whose Burden?

Kheriaty initially planned to get a COVID-19 vaccine. Now he’s working to change the narrative around mandates. ...

Most mandates across the country don’t have alternatives for people who had COVID-19 and recovered.

Kheriaty proposes putting the burden of proof on people who want to opt out.

“Just have them go get the testing on their own time. You don’t have to administer the T-cell test or the antibody test. You don’t have to go dig up their old medical record establishing that they’ve already had COVID,” he said.

“Just ask them to bring that in and sign off on that as a kind of immunity passport.”

Side Effects ...

Kheriaty worries about other research that seems to show vaccine recipients with natural immunity experience side effects at a higher frequency than those who are not immune who get a shot.

“There are now about five independent studies that strongly suggest that individuals that already have natural immunity, when you vaccinate them, the risk of vaccine adverse events or vaccine side effects is higher for that group,” the professor said. “They have higher risk of side effects from the vaccine. It’s not going to help the people around them because natural immunity already is sterilizing, [yet] we don’t yet have any COVID vaccines that offer sterilizing immunity.”

The problem is today doctors are the minority in the health care system, and they are surrounded by clowns and ignorant workers.
To become a nurse requires no understanding of the scientific method, and no science degree to enter.
To become a health system administrator does not either.
I recall the easter dinner party with health care people in attendance, administrators and a guy who was an RN.
They gave one guest a ton if shit for saying she’s not taking the shot.
She’s under 30 and healthy (hot) so not in a high risk group.
The group think I saw was pretty pathetic.
Fortunately the RN guy didn’t give her shit.
I defended her “Since she’s heard so much nonsense and contradictory official statements her reaction is not unreasonable.”

One key is that the system is as dependent on employees as employees are dependent on the system.

If there are just a few dissenting doctors, they can be suppressed. But if their numbers get big enough, they have the power, like pilots.

Similar for schools: their power to inflict racist thinking on children is limited by the power parents have to remove their kids from schools.

The real battle will be fought by non-compliance at personal cost. Those are the wounds of battle now. The cost of getting fired, or of paying for private school.

Almost all the rest are cringing jab-bots who do whatever they are told no matter how harmful to the patient. Most doctors have proven themselves to be worthless quacks who will inject anything into you if it lowers their own risk of discomfort. No one should have any respect for most doctors anymore. Clearly, the media disdains Florida’s new Surgeon General, Joseph Ladapo. He has been called “completely unfit,” a “crackpot doctor” who is “on a rampage,” and a “self-absorbed crank.”

Here are the new rules (in case you didn’t get The Memo from President Biden) for how to behave in the new world:

The objective is to vaccinate every human in the world with the vaccine. No iffs, ands, or butts. Safety isn’t an issue. We don’t care how many people we have to kill. No more need for anyone to investigate serious adverse events (like death, etc) in clinical trials or under EUA. So just lie about it like what Pfizer did in their Phase 3 trial. You will not be prosecuted and the outside advisory committees will not ask any questions. Trust us. It’s all wired in. And the public is completely clueless because we made sure the press wouldn’t ask any questions.

It is indeed regrettable that so many in the medical profession have chosen to follow directives from the Center for Disease Control, Food and Drug Administration or their hospital employers rather than use their God-given intellect to further their knowledge of this disease and help their patients make informed decisions.

Wearing a mask while strolling down the vacant hallway of a hospital displays blind obedience rather than intelligence. Similarly, the imposition of vaccine mandates as a condition of employment is a fundamental denial of the basic human right to make one’s own personal healthcare decisions. And vaccinating our children without understanding the nature of these new vaccines and having access to the complete safety profile of each is a violation of the basic Hippocratic tenet, “First, Do No Harm.”

A court in the UK has ruled that the General Medical Council was wrong to ban a doctor from discussing Covid on social media.

We obtained a copy of the ruling for you here.

The GMC banned the doctor from social media for posting a video claiming masks do not work and casting doubts on the efficiency of the vaccines.

In November, Dr. Samuel White appealed against interim restrictions posed against him by the GMC after alleged complaints over a video he posted in Instagram and Twitter.

Until February, when he resigned, Dr. White was a partner at Denmead Practice, in Hampshire.

In June, he posted a video on social media explaining why he resigned. He said he could no longer “stomach or tolerate” the “lies” around the government’s and NHS’ approach to the pandemic. He also cast doubt on the safety of the Covid vaccines and said “masks do nothing.”

It's the ethical cave-in of Rockefeller allopathic medicine. Rockefellers fund and dominate medicine to find ways that would allow them and their anointed richfucks to live forever. Some therapies are effective, and filter down to the peasants by well meaning doctors.

However, the mandate is not for the peasants, the mandate is for control. Also, Rockefeller medicine treats medicine the same way they treated the oil industry: maximize profits and crush all competition until you possess the absolute monarchial monopoly. Patients are profit centers for targeted industries. Anybody with cheap, alternative, effective alternatives that might compete are bought out and their information suppressed, or they are crushed or assassinated.

We see this modus operandi vividly with Covid's political agenda to destroy human rights and engage democide for the Globalists. Any truly effective alternative is simply censored or crushed. The Rockefellers developed this medical army over the years, and they have decided now is the time to deploy it in force against the populace to gain full control.

Our internist at Kaiser seemed all right for years, but probably two years ago (paralleling Covid tyranny?) something changed with him and he seemed to finally abdicate to the agendas, fuck the Hippocratic Oath. I started shopping for a family physician for a physical next year and actually found a practice but it was a long road. One group called marin health told me first that the physician I picked does not take new patients (a clear indication that the medical industry is a racket) but they could assign me to another one as long as I am jabbed. So I let them repeat since I thought I misheard, then told them that that bullshit is flat out coercion and hung up, and been telling everyone who cares even a bit to avoid them. Avoid marin health group. And kaiser, they told my wife right after delivery to take the jab so she can go to Hawaii. Fuck them, luckily the md left on her own volition before I got too enraged

They are trying to combine 'flu' shots with the clot shot. I wouldn't put it past them to try to sneak the clot shot into your arm, since informed consent has died when it comes to the Plandemic.

Last night, January 2, I had the honor to interview Dr. James Thorp, an ObGyn Maternal Fetal Medicine specialist in Gulf Breeze, Florida who has chosen to honor his duty to his patients and tell them the truth about the safety of the COVID vaccines.

Any healthcare provider who spreads any misinformation (in the view of their governing Board for their specialty), will have their license to practice medicine revoked. The Medical Boards are the judge, jury, and executioner. Whatever they say goes.

This censorship technique works. It keeps virtually all healthcare professionals silenced about what they are seeing. Nobody wants to lose their career. The doctors just do the best they can under the circumstances: they tell patients to take the jab, and then tell the family it was bad luck when they die, that it was not related to the vaccine.

Dr. Thorp is risking his career by speaking out the truth about what is going on.

There are very few others who will take such risks because they know the consequences of truth telling: the end of the career that they worked so hard to create.

Why the medical boards will win in court

We talked about why, even though Dr. Thorp is being honest about the vaccines, masking, mandates, and early treatment, the medical boards are likely to prevail in a court of law even though the science is clear that Thorp is correct.

The reason is simple: judges don’t believe they can adjudicate the merits of medical arguments, so they always side with the “respected authorities.” The medical boards simply say, “See your honor, every doctor in the country says the vaccines are safe. Dr. Thorp is a quack and a danger to society.” It works every time.

Is there a viable way out of this mess?

So Thorp is doing the right thing as a doctor, but it means he’ll be unable to practice medicine (until the wheels come off the bus) because telling the truth is not allowed.

This is why all doctors support whatever the CDC says. To do otherwise, ends their career. And there is nothing you or I can do about it.

Any state governor could end this. But politicians almost never take unnecessary risks that could subject them to criticism. Today, there is no governor in America that has the courage to challenge the medical boards, not even Ron DeSantis. Any governor who challenged the Medical Boards would be immediately labelled “anti-science.” Bad PR. It’s never going to happen.

The only way left to get out

We are left with the only way to win this is for 100,000 medical providers to go public with the truth on the same day. Then the Medical Boards can no longer make the argument that Thorp is wrong. Thorp will have overwhelming support from his peers. Now the tables will be turned; it opens up the potential for the members of the medical boards to be held personally liable.

That’s why it is so important that if you know a healthcare provider who believes in free speech that you encourage them to join this substack. Now.

I am extremely concerned about the ‘gag order’ that has been placed upon every single physician and nurse in the USA via the governing bodies including the Federation of State Medical Boards (FSMB.org), The American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS.org) and the American Association of Nursing Colleges (AANC.org).

ABMS includes over 100 different medical specialties (about 25) and medical subspecialties (>80) and have threatened all physicians as has the FSMB and all the nurses AANC in the USA.

I believe this is unethical, immoral, illegal, illegitimate and unconstitutional.

In February 2021, I worked as a registered nurse at an ivy league teaching hospital. Our electronic medical record system (Epic) went through an upgrade. One morning I noticed a new item on the medical record home page for each of my patients. Now in the same place as name, date of birth, gender, and allergies, appeared “COVID vaccination status.” All of my patients were defaulted to a status in bright red marked “Overdue.”

I found this very, very odd. How could anyone be over due for a vaccine that was still in clinical trials and was only available under an emergency use authorization. The vaccine was not yet even widely available to at-risk populations.

In Nebraska, they value freedom of speech for doctors and other healthcare providers

If you are a doctor, you can prescribe ivermectin to a patient and you will not have your license to practice medicine revoked. Yes, that was not a typo.

The reason is due to a provision in Nebraska law that makes the Medical Boards accountable to the Attorney General’s office. The Boards can’t revoke a license without the AG’s consent.

In this case, the occupants of the AG’s office are superb; they are critical thinkers. They don’t just accept the narrative from US government agencies as gospel. They actually look at the science! What a novel concept.

Despite being targeted for exposing the corruption, the pediatric specialist stands by his assessment of the hospital’s murderous malpractice and flagrant negligence.

“Over 700,000 Americans have needlessly died in our hospitals. So yeah – you go to the hospital and all of your patient rights are gone,” he explained. “You’re isolated. Most of the time, a family member can go days without even being able to speak to a doctor, no less their loved one.

“Mechanical ventilation. [The] standard of care in Peace Health Hospital Southwest in Vancouver, Washington – what do they have? About a 10 percent survival rate once they are ventilated, Dr. Leslie Enzian? So, the standard of care is killing?”

A dangerous bill, AB 2098, has been introduced in the California legislature, that if passed, will punish physicians who seek to publicly speak out about issues that directly impact their patients' well-being.

For example, under AB 2098, physicians who advocate for the potential benefits of early treatment with off-label drugs, or who ask questions about COVID vaccine safety, could be charged with unprofessional conduct for promoting "misinformation or disinformation" and lose their medical license.

Physicians must not be coerced into blindly following the establishment "consensus" and refraining from entering into debate that is crucial to advancing both science and rational public health policies.

This law would be harmful to California patients, the integrity of the medical profession, and the welfare of the entire state.
