#backyardsled I am very proud that the back yard shed is now finished. Elena will spend a lot of time later today cleaning out the inside and the outside. Sunday, we will fill it with tools, birdseed, barbecue chips, etc.
It was a battle to get this project accomplished. I had to battle a collapsing supply chain. The first time that I ordered the 350 lb. shed, a trucking company lost it. The second time that the shed was ordered, it arrived almost one month after the projected delivery date. I was constantly on the phone battling with Amazon and the company in Maryland that handled the sale.
Once the shed in a large package was delivered, Elena tore apart the package. She hauled up each component to the back yard. The next battle was to find a concrete contractor to pour the slab for the shed. We had several turndowns. Finally, one of our readers directed us to a great concrete man who did the job.
The final battle was to find a handy man to assemble it. With the current labor shortages, it is hard to find workers. I finally found a wonderful gentleman named Todd who works for Lavallis Handyman Services. He worked into the night two times to get it finished.
I did all this while suffering awful fatigue due to the Covid-19 booster shot.

Let’s see some pics!

A backyard shed is on my to-do list

Yep, pics or it didn't happen.

You are wasting your time boys, ohomen just drops his folksy anecdotes here he doesn't deign to actually converse.

When most men brag about a shed, it is a shed they built themselves. Having a delivered kit assembled by hired help just ain't the same.

Maybe Elena will chime in

Bwahahaha, I guess she won’t.

This thread is useless without pics and dimensions.

150lbs isn't much I would bet it's under 8x8.

I'm still happy as a clam with my 10 X 20, it was a Lark steel construction, with insulation from the factory. I rewired it with outlets every 8 feet.
3 on the back 20 foot wall, one on each 10 foot wall, and one on each side of the door on other 20 foot wall with the door in the center.
I wired the ceiling for a light in the center, and dropped the wire for recessed LED lighting(Which I haven't done yet). I also ran audio wire in the walls, and put XLR jack plates on the wall, for musicians to plug microphones or keyboards into. Then ran speaker cable from one side up the ceiling over to the other wall, and put in speaker jacks. No cables on the floor with this set up.
I screwed 5/16 sheetrock to the walls and ceiling, and finished it off, and put hardy backer on the floor, then laid ceramic over that.
Last I put in a mini split air conditioner.

First carried to the backyard by his woman and then assembled by hired help. Man card revoked on the spot.

9/16 drywall I meant to say. The heavy stuff.

There should be lots of used manacles for the shed due to all the chained human cargo in the supply lines. Just soak them in peroxide to remove the blood and flesh tags.

First bot to post about shed. Nobody gives a FUCK about your fake shed.

Why would you want to remove the seasoning?

Damn nice shed/mancave 10lb! Fun watching you put it together. While I rot here in a CA apartment/condo.
