I got fed up with Microsoft ages ago. Linux was a "nerd" OS back then, but anybody can comfortably use the system now. I recommend KDE Neon.
Computers increasingly are used just as devices to access the Internet. If that's all you use your machine for, definitely go to Linux. If you need to run programs that are specific to Microsoft or Apple, you can't.
Every single time I click on a NY Post link from PatNet, my computer locks up. IDKWTF causes it, but it ALWAYS happens.
