I don't think we need to invoke magic Soros money to make sense of this long time phenomenon. Celebrities like movie stars live in a completely different world than us average folks. Once they've made some successes, they live in a halo of unconditional positive regard and eager helpfulness from strangers, and living off the large intermittent payouts of big movie projects etc leaves them disconnected from the visceral fear of losing one's paycheck that keeps average people in a perpetual state of STFU about your personal opinion especially concerning religion and politics. Celebrities have bills that toll over 10K a week. The movie industry has been terminally ill since they took down Miramax, and Harvey Weinstein. They had a monopoly on talent, they had all of the creative teams, they had the writers, the producers, and knew how to cast and what would sell. Taking out Miramax left a huge void in Hollywood's ability to guarantee 2 Summer Block busters, and a few Holiday hits. If that wasn't bad enough that they took down Miramax and diluted Hollywood, they went after Males for being on record being a hetero male babe hound. A once admired trait by jealous guys, and admiring women. That took out the writers, producers, actors, and anyone with half a brain from the MeToo movement. By time the MeToo which hunt was over, and what was left by Hollywood declared itself an intuition to promote LBCTQ and BLM and Marxist propaganda.

Hence every movie is a reboot, it's not because they want to replace the iconery with Homos and Creeps. They really have a serious creative and talent deficit.

Now to my point, movies today are not investment undertakings, where guarnteed big audiences are common. These actors and actresses aren't making money at their craft. They are NOT using their name to weigh in on politics for free. When you see these has been clowns that haven't been in a movie in over 10 years, on the View spouting off about their hatred for America. They didn't fly out to the set for free.

I did watch the Batman movie and saw the part when she mentioned 'white privilege'. However, it was almost a spoof because the actors were nearly laughing at the ridiculousness of the statement and I would have called it a moment where the writers were trying to satirize themselves and the goddam shoehorning woke shit that has become endemic.

The movie was including the woke bullshit, but was also making fun of it and rebelling against it. I have begun to see that in a few programs.
