Cut her some slack. It seems to me, she walked away from her career at the top of her game. It was probably her Husband, or she did it expecting that's what her husband wanted.
She put her duty to her family, and to her kid to raise him rather than letting a nanny do it in her absence. She looks beastly but God bless her, she looks like she has struggled with her decision to the detriment of her Hollywood figure.
