one of the deeply frustrating aspects of covid has been the fact that the data has been so limited.

this is not because much of the data has not existed. it’s simply being cloistered and hidden.

this is not because agencies have been overwhelmed or unable to do so. it has been the systematic suppression and slanting of data in order to support political narratives. and the CDC has been among the very worst.

you can tell that covid is well and truly winding down now that even the new york times is calling them out on it. the busses are getting ready to depart. it’s time to throw some people under them. ...

left to its own devices, the credentialed class seeks primarily to protect itself from challenge, to retain tenure and status and we have seen such on vivid display lo these 2 long years.

they could have shared. they did not.

they could have pushed for and enabled research into treatment with existing drugs. instead they suppressed to to push barely tested and badly rushed inoculation modalities.

there is no basis for trust here and it’s time to move beyond this notion of the technocratic tyranny of unaccountable bureaucrats ascribing expert status to their political fiefdoms.

A spokeswoman for the CDC said they were concerned that the data would be misinterpreted, pointing out that it was incomplete and not verified
Critics said that it was always better to publish the information rather than withhold, and allow scientists to analyze and explain what they could

UK and Nordic countries are much better with data transparency. Here's what the UK HSA COVID-19 vaccine surveillance report Week 7 data shows in the 18-49 cohort. Note that case rates are higher in the fully vaccinated (3 shots). If you're at risk, though, you're more likely to die without a vaccine shot.


UK also shows a fair amount of natural immunity (red line) so that helps mitigate case rates in the unvaxxed cohort.

This meets the criteria of scientific fraud. Withholding data is scientific fraud. So reading from the title, “The CDC isn't publishing large portions of the COVID data it collects”. New York Times February 21st 2022 just an amazing title. Read that again. “CDC is not publishing large portions of the COVID data it collects.” Then there's a quote from Samuel Scarpino, managing director of the Pathogen Surveillance at the Rockefeller Foundation's Pandemic Prevention Institute. This is somebody who is deeply in the non-governmental sector, speaking on behalf basically of the scientists at the CDC that have failed to disclose this up till now. Here's what he says. Direct quote, "The CDC is a political organization as much as it is a public health organization." I mean, that is totally inconsistent with their charter. He's speaking the truth of the situation, and that's where we're at, the CDC.

He is saying the the CDC is overtly functioning as a political arm of the executive branch as opposed to serving its mandate from Congress. To protect the health and collect the information. In this, as the Centers for Disease Control and Surveillance that is their mission. This guy, Samuel Scarpino, goes on to say, “The steps that it takes to get something like this released are often well outside of the control of many of the scientists who work at the CDC”. Now think that quote through.

Basically a non-governmental spokesperson for the official public health scientific community is throwing Rochelle Walensky, the CDC director, under the bus. What he is saying, if you read think through his words is that the governmental leadership of the CDC has stifled CDC scientists and preventing them from disclosing key information to the public about the risks of the vaccine.
