Definitely a lot of weirdness at first, with the Russians almost getting to Kiev, then withdrawing and just keeping the Donbass.

And it seems to have stalled at that state.

The Russians are not on a time table, they are about taking the fewest casualties and applying a rinse/repeat military strategy that works over time: pound the shit out of the Azov frontlines with endless rocket fire, blow them up in their trenches, terrify them and give them shell shock, disrupt their lines of support and comms, then send in infantries to mop the disrupted lines and nested units up. The highly trained Russian special forces will follow up on particular situations.
The ratio of Ukranian casualties compared to Russian casualties is some crazy figure like over 20 to one. They say that most Ukrainian soldiers who die do so without ever seeing a Russian soldier on a battlefront.

I did watch a video along a railway where Russian forces dispatched 20 Ukrainian soldiers, killing 18 and capturing two, without apparently coming close to taking any casualties in return. The kill and wound ratios favor the Russians and that is hard to gaslight. Ukrainians insist on their absurd propagandas, which I assume is to keep shoving their soldiers into the charnel fields. The credibility ratios also favor the Russians, with the Ukrainians choosing the paths of greatest deception. They'll have children bringing down Russian drones with slingshots next.

So? The US sold Saddam Hussein chemical weapons in the 1980's and helped him gain power. They only reason they went to war with him in Operation Desert Storm was he wasn't able to take out Iran - the war the US got Hussein to start. It bankrupted Iraq but Kuwait had a lot of money and resources, and Kuwait WAS stealing oil from Iraq with slant drilling. Iraq tried to resolve it many times in the UN by the US used their seat on the permanent security council to prevent anything from happening.

The US wanted a war with Iraq, probably to establish bases there to set a stage for war with Iran. Hussein still wouldn't allow it, so the US lied about a weapons of mass destruction program, and now they have a billion dollar embassy there, many bases there. They used these bases to arm ISIS and al-Qaeda against Syria. They are still having some trouble maintaining control of Iraq, but they'll dump whatever is needed into it.

Look, I'm not seeking approval from you at all. I'm explaining the geopolitical situation, as I see it.

First thing you have to do is stop pretending any of this bullshit going on has a "good" or "bad" side, or morality is at all, in any way, linked to what is going on. It doesn't.

The US has been fucking with Russia ever since Putin put their banking system under the Russian government's thumb, that was the crown jewel of the collapse of the USSR. The Fed is our real leaders, not congress, not the MIC, not the intelligence agencies. They want control of Russia's resources, and they intend to do that through the banking system, and Putin won't let them.

If they can't just get defacto control of the banking system, they are literally willing to risk WWIII to get it. They're willing to let Europeans freeze to death, to let European governments to get overthrown. When people start freezing this year, it's not going to be blamed on Putin, it will be blamed on their own leaders. People start to think more clearly when they are hungry and cold. They will be in a flight or fight response after just a few days, and there's no possibility of flight - they are STUCK there.

It's going to be an interesting winter.

There will be massive protests in the Eastern block, our "news" media will ignore them. Not certain what the more passive cattle of Western Europe will do, but they do have a lot of entitled rapefugees the US has been creating for the last, what, 40 years?
