It's all been stupid. I don't care what side. Totally unnecessary. My only take is if Russia is such a wealthy nation, just buy the Donbass from Ukraine. Kershon and whatever the other territory is on the way to Crimea. I mean come on, you don't think Ukraine would take the money?

you and I didn’t ask for this war. but our intel agencies wanted it, worked hard for military industrial complex. they are our government our representatives, so “us” in that sense. “our Democracy”.

Implying Putin and Russia have no agency and absolutely no free will in all of this? Same way many treat Islamists.....always blaming the West.

Why was Putin dumb enough to fall into the trap?

If Putin had a crystal ball and could see he would be starting his 4th year of grinding trench warfare with hundreds of thousands of Russian casualties, do you still think he would have chosen to invade? This whole war has been nothing but a major drag and detriment to Russia's quality of life and is accelerating their demographic doom loop by getting so many of their young men dead.

It is not like Ukraine is passing on generous ceasefire proposals made by Putin. Putin hasn't stepped down from his maximal demands, which means the Ukrainians defenders are fighting for their lives. If they surrender, most of Ukrainian civilian and military leadership will end up dead or in a Russian gulag being raped by drunk Russian primitives for the rest of their short lives.

So it is pretty pathetic to read all these American homos sitting comfortably on their couches hectoring Ukrainians who are trying to protect their friends, families and homes.
