Getting outsmarted by "dumb like rock" Biden is biggest proof you need to prove that Putin's attack on Ukraine is hateful and revengeful against people who don't want to live under his thumb instead of some calculating move.

This rant targets internal audience and makes total sense in his current situation. It
1) Pushes the "WE ARE SURROUNDED BY ENEMIES" line.
2) Pushes "TRAITORS BAD PATRIOTS GOOD" line.
3) Supports suffering common folk by disapproving of foie gras lovers and west admirers.
4) Possibly ("possibly" is an operative word) paves the road for an upcoming purge.
There is an unintended consequence though. In the past, nobody in the west paid attention to how he addresses the Russians. With the popularity which he enjoyed in some "I'm drawn to his macho image" circles, there was always someone to quickly point out that what he says to his people is his business.
But this is no longer the case. He's in the spotlight. Rants such as this won't get swiped under the rug quick enough, and average Joe in the west learns a bit more about this Putler guy.

Taking the propaganda out, But this is not somebody popular and leader connected with masses have to do.
So his call to shore up internal support is useless, It is only test of his repression tools.. If they fail, he will be found hanging from pole.
