Twitter is complying with more government demands under Elon Musk
The company has not refused a single request since Musk took ownership, according to self-reported data.

Since Musk took ownership, the company has received 971 government demands, and fully complied with 808 of them.

Before Musk, Twitter's full compliance rate hovered around 50%; since the takeover, it is over 80%.

It’s been exactly six months since Elon Musk took over Twitter, promising a new era of free speech and independence from political bias. But Twitter’s self-reported data shows that, under Musk, the company has complied with hundreds more government orders for censorship or surveillance — especially in countries such as Turkey and India. ...

The orders vary widely in scope and subject, but all involve a government asking Twitter to either remove content or reveal information about a user. In one case from January, India’s information ministry ordered Twitter to take down all posts sharing footage from a BBC documentary on Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Dozens of posts were removed, including one from a local member of parliament.

Indian MP Derek O'Brien said one of his tweets was taken down in January. @derekobrienmp
The figures are drawn from the Lumen database, a public clearinghouse for takedown requests and other government orders received by online speech platforms.

We need to know the raw number of requests before Musk took over a similar time period.

Look, Musk is a defense contractor whose made a ton of money on schemes and scams with the cooperation of the government. Electric cars, for example, are just not workable. What do you think SpaceX is? It's military.

Don't look for a billionaire to save free speech, abandon the platform.

I also use Rumble, Truth, Gettr, and of course Scored (Patriots.win).

Youtube is committing suicide. The only people I watch there still, are all on other platforms, and they are only on Youtube because that's where they started.

All the interesting and thoughtful people on American policy and American culture, have been kicked off or left.

Twitter still has a bunch of FIB agents working there. I think Musk was brought in to give the APPEARANCE that Twitter is free speech, when it's not.

It's VERY milquetoast. If you really criticize the government, you won't last there. You can more openly talk about "the culture war" there, but that's just a distraction really, and it REALLY is. The point of all this wokeness is just to get people to argue about something that really our government doesn't care about - they don't care about the outcome of it. Try to talk about real issues, and I don't think you'll last.

The only thing I've gotten suspended or banned on there is Tranny and Gender shit, by the Transactivists and Misandrists.

Before Musk, mostly.

I've said all kinds of shit about the government. I post my "Vietcong and Taliban fought an expelled a B-52 equipped military" meme on there almost daily.

I'm going by the David Horowitz line that Conservatives need to stop going home with their ball from cultural/social arenas and stay in the game until they are forced to kick us out.
1261   AmericanKulak   2023 Apr 29, 12:13am

Oh, there are definitely NGO/Agency Sponsored accounts on there for sure.

Tells: Generally less than 200 followers, Yet Old Account (often 3+ years old), a few innocuous tweets when the account was created about movies, sports, etc. ("Go Bears!" "Friends Reunion!") then nothing but replies to political/social situations always pushing the Current Thing.

In 1993, the FBI allowed the WTC to be bombed. This is known because they had a plant name Emad Salem within the group that tried to warn them about the bombing to stop it. It was ignored, they attempted to prosecute Salem as a co-conspirator, but he had recorded all his conversations with the FIB and started to produce them.

Now you MIGHT be able to post that, but nobody will find it. For example, here's the audio tape that basically implicated the FBI as a co-conspirator:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3M8QtYTplyk

Here's what happens when you search for the title:

https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=1993+WTC+Bomb+Attack+FBI+Informant+Emad+Salem+Tapes

You CAN find it in there, but what if you just know "Emad Salem" and "bomb"?

https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=Emad+Salem+bomb

how about "Emad Salem" and "recording"

https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=Emad+Salem+recording

It's not that youtube can't find it, they are hiding it. The test for Twitter is if somebody important truly trends on the platform. I've not seen that yet. Maybe Matt Walsh can get a video to trend there, but not Paul Craig Roberts.

Yeah, that's right.

Alex Jones is a kookifier in my opinion, but every now and then, he would platform people worth hearing from.

Alex Jones is PERFECTLY willing to present nonsense that he KNOWS is nonsense, and platform people who are full of crap and he KNOWS they are full of crap. I really don't care for Alex Jones.

People have a difficult time building independent platforms, but they do show up.

IF there weren't so many people working AGAINST the interest of Americans, we'd all know the truth, about everything. Jones drives me crazy in that the best way to hide the truth, is mix it liberally with bullshit. Want to know what happened to bring about 9/11? Well good luck, because there's so much nonsense mixed in with that, it takes FOREVER to untangle the Gordian Knot.

And they do this all the damned time. Everything is a controlled release, and you can see it too. Like the two terrorists that had CIA ties in 9/11? That was in the 9/11 senate commission. It's been known for over a decade but you never heard this on your "news" did you? They have 10 stories for "timed releases" to distract the public when they are no longer buying the bullshit, so they end up buying OTHER bullshit and they are released for MULTIPLE reasons - one is that Saudi Arabia is talking directly to China, this might be a threat to Saudi Arabia to back off.

The key is, they (our intelligence agencies) wouldn't be doing this if they didn't do it. There were terrorists on 9/11, there were planes, there were no missiles at the Pentagon, you don't have to do a finite element simulation, you don't have to know "how it was done", all you have to do is recognize they've been feeding us bullshit - and they only reason they'd be doing this, is if they were involved.

And a conspiracy doesn't have to have everybody involved with it, to implement it, in fact the opposite. Your typical FIB agent has NO IDEA who Emad Salem is, and they are likely to be arrogant, they are "in intelligence" so there isn't ANYTHING you could know that they might not, it's a real hurdle. Our psychology is purposely built up to respect "the respectable" and ignore the common man. I didn't get anything wrong about this pandemic bullshit, I figured it would go on for years, and it did, I didn't think it was a real pandemic, you can see it in the numbers of excess deaths that it was insignificant, I knew the vaccines were unlikely to work although I didn't think they were dangerous, but I never promoted them because we didn't have a pandemic.

Got all the right, I'll never be on MSNBC, Rachael Maddow is on there.

It's such a burden to be correct. Either I have to lie to people I know and play along, be controlled, OR I tell the truth, and am "the conspiracy nut", and they NEVER remember that you were correct. Well, doing one is what I think is evil, because I'm lying to them, and doing the other sucks.

Do you know what "misprision" is? It's when you actively cover up for a crime. Being dishonest about what I think happened on 9/11, is a felony, it's misprision of treason. I know my government HAD TO BE INVOLVED because they haven't released all the information to the public. Meanwhile, there's treasonous assholes running my government, and the hordes of dupes that believe them.

I WANTED to know when I was 30, well, I fucking do now. Ignorance really is a lot more pleasant. I miss being able to trust and respect my government.

I mean sure it's not us (potentially), but why does a website with user created content and links have to comply with anything? The only things I'd say are seemingly valid requests are direct death threats and children being harmed. And we'll never know the requests. All the pulled content could have been horrifying and 99.9% of people would agree that it should have been pulled.

Government dissent should never get pulled though unless it's a direct threat to a member in government. If you do real legwork and investigation, 99% of members of say Congress could be removed from office via a ton of means. You just have to tread lightly in your investigation. But there's no point. They'll be replaced with another puppet assigned by a governor or special election. Case in point Pennsylvania recently. That is and was a shit show.

I've never had a Twitter account. Checked it out many years ago. I just didn't like the format of it. And I'll never try it again.

More women means more censorship, he proved it practically!

Men have the existential fear of not reproducing, and raising a baby that isn't theirs.

Women have the existential fear of being cast from the group, and raising a baby that isn't from the very best genetic donor they can get

It's the former in women that makes them approve of censorship, the lower the standards for women's behaviors, the less likely she is to be expelled from the Group.
