Prediction: if she ends up having to testify in front of congress, media will say "she was surrounded by angry raycis whyte old men trying to harm her. they dont like to see a brown woman rise like she did."

The JournaList Talking Point: Taibbi sold out to do PR for the Richest Man in the World.

Of course, what does that make the Bezos Washington Post?

Twitter Botswarms converging like clouds of disinformation locusts. Will Elon ever get rid of all of them?

Elon Musk gambled big on Twitter. Tesla is going to pay the price. There is one troubling option for Elon Musk to try and keep Twitter afloat: siphoning cash from Tesla.

Elon Musk is intelligence. His job is to make Twitter appear to be fair, not to make it fair. He's getting money from the government to do this. They'll just shovel money into SpaceX to pay for it.

WOW.

While I hate to dole out hopium, I really do believe that eventually, this era will be a dark stain on US History and especially the Media.

This "era" is 20 years old, REALLY - nothing has changed within that time.

The only thing that is changing is you, you're becoming aware of just how corrupt our government is. People have been screaming about this for decades. It's probably going on longer than 20 years, but that's the extent of what I know of it.

I know you don't think so, but I'll go back to Garofalo and Meathead on Fox News making the case against the Iraq War 15-20 years ago. These days, Fox won't have anybody on challenging irregularities in any election, even when Republicans lose.

I'll go to Matt Taibbi being celebrated for his Financial Crisis series. Now literally the SAME people who praised him for it, are calling him a traitor for processing the Twitter-Deep State collusion trail.

It really changed around 2012-2015. The key moment was the elimination of local news and media comment sections, pushing everybody to a handful of Social Media platforms.

Such are the dangers of having principles. Remember when Julian Assange was celebrated by "the left"?

Yeah, but the thing about the Internet is, anybody can run a website.

The result of turning off comment sections is that nobody gives a shit what they even say anymore.

Sure Twatter, Fuckbook, and Guulag can censor all they wish - that's HARD to do. It's takes work. It's a lot harder to control the conversation, and make it appear you're not controlling the conversation, than just let a conversation happen. Why are there 1000's of people needed to run Twatter? For what? It's a fucking WEBSITE. Most of the people involved in these companies are doing information control, censorship, promotion of stupid ideas, etc.

They are at a severe economic disadvantage, in a FREE MARKET - too bad we don't have a free market..

But that's not what happened --- People went onto Social Media to comment. Then, they sprung the shadowban/suspend trap - too fast.

It's why goolag and LGBTQMozilla went apeshit over Dissenter and similar comment add-ons.

I honestly believe Trump's candidacy forced them to advance the crackdown before they gave it enough time to thoroughly normalize it.
