A few qualifiers from a source I trust. The shooter had to jump a fence to get into the school. Seems that the border patrol was leading a tactical team, and team took him out after BP got shot(he was in the lead).
Unfortunately it also seems the shooter was firing outside the school for like 10 minutes before he hopped the fence, and in that time. Before going into the school door, he did engage officers, who were both wounded. Thing about the fence hoping though, someone ran through the numbers, and this kids would've had about 40lbs of equipment between guns, ammo, and body armor.
