Here's the thing, there are other Turks & Iranians who don't believe in Islam but like many of their brethren, who know that Imams go for the jugulars of apostates, they keep their Christian, Zoroastrian, & Buddhist ideas to themselves. I used to know a few who attended the nearby Zen Center or Evangelical gatherings but never spoken about it with other Muslims. In other words, they're in 'the closest' much like gays back in the 50s and 60s.
