The committee supporting Boudin raised money from a small handful of contributors who cut checks for between $1,000 and $25,000, campaign finance records show.
Donors include Kaitlyn and Mike Krieger, who run the Future Justice Fund, which donates to causes and individuals who support criminal justice reforms. Mike Krieger was a co-founder of Instagram, which was sold to Facebook for $1 billion in 2012. The Kriegers donated a combined $30,000 to the independent expenditure committee.
