Hawley is only senator to vote against Finland, Sweden NATO membership

He said he does not believe the U.S. should expand its security commitments in Europe, because America's "greatest foreign adversary" is China.

He's right about that, and I admire him for standing up when so many other senators just bent over as usual.

During an appearance on FNC’s “Hannity,” Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) called out the FBI and Department of Justice for “abusing” the law and procedures for the sake of attacking political opponents.

He included efforts by the FBI to “shield” embattled Hunter Biden, son of President Joe Biden.

Hawley said if Attorney General Merrick Garland was not willing to resign his post, he should be removed from office.

Maybe we should encourage Finland, Sweden, and any other European to join NATO while the US gets out. Let Europe pay for its own defense.

Our greatest foreign adversary isn't in China, they live in the United States.

Make of that what you will.

Wow, a very clear admission from that woman that she sees herself and others Democrats as intellectually superior to Republicans.

@HawleyMO
: The FBI deliberately interfered not one, but two separate presidential elections... there have got to be repercussions for that.

We're going to have to have a conversation about the future of the FBI and what it's doing in our democracy.

Wow, a very clear admission from that woman that she sees herself and others Democrats as intellectually superior to Republicans.

When she says "perception", just replace it with "propaganda". She's just loathe to identify as propaganda.

Everything she said is correct. The propaganda is that conservatives are dumb, and liberals are smart. At one time, LONG ago, liberals tended to be well read, educated people who were free speech absolutists and would be willing to debate at any time with anyone. That USED to be true, decades ago. Now, the only thing left of "liberals" is the perception (or really propaganda) that they are well read educated people who are capable of debating and discussing "their" ideas, but it's simply not worth their time to do so - after all, you're stupid if you don't think they are right and if you can't see they are correct, well, you're incapable of understanding they are correct.

That's the current defense of modern liberal thinking.

Josh Hawley introduces bill allowing minors harmed by gender transition surgeries to sue medical providers

These gender clinics are ruining the lives of young people and physically mutilating them in mass social engineering experimentation projects. Currently, there's no recourse for the victims.

Sen. Josh Hawley, R-Mo., meanwhile, took aim at Democrats in general, claiming that it was part of a trend for the party.

"The Democrats used the FBI against parents, they used the FBI against Catholics, they used Big Tech against vaccine critics & anyone who questioned them. Now they want to arrest Trump, their leading political opponent," he said. "They are the banana republic party."

https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2023/03/26/josh-hawley-unveils-workers-agenda-to-end-u-s-free-trade-with-china/

Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) has unveiled his “worker’s agenda,” which includes legislation to end the United States’ decades-long, job-killing free trade status with China.

Last week, Hawley proposed the “Ending Normal Trade Relations with China Act” which would effectively impose high tariffs on Chinese imports to the U.S. by revoking China’s free trade status that the communist country has enjoyed for more than two decades.

“As we face a new age of competition with China, we need an agenda in Washington that will make our working class strong and independent,” Hawley said in a statement:

We can start by revoking the sweetheart deal D.C. elites handed to China 23 years ago — end normal trade relations, put in place strong tariffs, and protect American workers. [Emphasis added]

In 2001, China entered the World Trade Organization (WTO) with the backing of former President Bush’s administration and was subsequently awarded “permanent normal trade relations status” by the U.S. after congressional approval. ...

As a result of authorizing U.S. free trade with China, nearly four million American jobs have been eliminated from the U.S. economy from 2001 to 2018 — including almost three million domestic manufacturing jobs, as multinational corporations readily shipped jobs overseas without penalties from the government.

During that same period, at least 50,000 American manufacturing plants closed down.

It's kinda late, but better than nothing I suppose.
