Tom Tillis to White House -- I am opposed to President Trump's pick for U.S. Attorney for D.C. Ed Martin.

202-224-6342 office

Tom Tillis voted to confirm Merrick Garland.

I love these RINO fucks.

"Hurr Durr, I have reservations. Gotta go with my princuhpuls"

Meanwhile they've voted to confirm the biggest asshole judges and prosecutors in US History

They're gonna delay and make sure Boasberg picks the DC Prosecutor by default.

SO they can set up impeachments against Trump. It's not an accident, or stubbornness, they're not morons, it's deliberate.

ReeeEEEee! Judge Jeanine recess appointment, 180-days.

Let the RINOs try to fool the low-info Fox Viewers that she's "Dangerous"

"What?! Dangerous?!", said 76 year old Grandpa Al, "I watch her all the time on the Five. This Tilis guy is a RINO"

Let’s review Thom Thillis;

1. In February 2019, Tillis wrote a Washington Post op-ed opposing Trump’s declaration of a national emergency to fund the border wall, arguing it violated the Constitution’s separation of powers. He caved after pressure from his NC voters.

2. Tillis co-sponsored a bipartisan bill in 2018 to protect Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election.

3. He tried to tank the Hegseth nomination when he worked behind the scenes to oppose the nomination. He encouraged Hegseth’s ex-sister-in-law to provide a sworn statement alleging alcohol abuse and spousal mistreatment, hoping to sway other GOP senators.

4. Tillis delivered a fiery Senate speech condemning Vladimir Putin as a “liar, murderer” and “the greatest threat to democracy in my lifetime,” implicitly rebuking Trump’s take on the conflict and stated he would not to support Trump national security nominees who didn’t back Ukraine.

5. During Trump’s first impeachment in 2020, Tillis voted to acquit, arguing the House case was weak, but he ran campaign ads emphasizing his opposition to removal, distancing himself from Trump’s legal peril.

6. He also supported the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act, providing funds for red laws.

7. Now he is standing in the way of confirming Ed Martin.

He must want to lose his seat.

Unfortunately there are not enough Republicans with name recognition that are willing to take him down in this state. It's a weird state - state wide positions are all held by liberals because of Charlotte and Raleigh-Durham, but republicans still control the congress.

Two men I am aware of with name recognition are Former Charlotte Mayor and one term governor Pat McCrory and former Lieutenant Governor Mark Robinson. McCrory is likeable and somewhat fiscally conservative (although he pushed through an unpopular new stadium deal for the Charlotte Hornets and embarked the city on a money sink hole project of light rail) but he doesn't have the pockets or backers to unseat Tillis. Mark Robinson is a lightening rod that polarizes every issue and presents like a black evangelical preacher - he's not going to win any more state level positions.

Tillis is an absolute turd. We don't hear a peep out of him until it's time for re-election. He's a grifter just using his position to get richer and richer. He's a Rhino because half his voters are liberals. The F_ing yankees keep moving down here and voting for school bonds and bad policies that will end up making NC just like NY.

he'll retire around age 63 and with 12 years in Congress so he'll get an okay pension , plus he'll likely work as a lobbyist

He already looks at least mid-70s and that's being generous.
