I think Gaetz is speaking up about Israel's corruption of US politics because they had him removed from Congress. Or maybe they had him removed from Congress because he was already speaking up.

Matt Gaetz has claimed that Israel was involved in an operation to silence him, alleging that a consulate official working for the Israeli government participated in a blackmail attempt against his family.

He stated that his father was approached by individuals falsely claiming to have photos of Gaetz with underage girls and demanding $25 million to make the allegations disappear, which they reported to the FBI.

Gaetz claims this was part of a broader effort tied to his political positions, particularly his opposition to U.S. involvement in wars on behalf of Israel, suggesting it was an attempt to punish him for defying the "Israel influence operation".

They didn't. This case came up a decade ago and again a few years ago and neither time did Gaetz or the FBI mention any Israel connection. Several reporters that covered this case are like "WTF is this shit from Gaetz?"
