Democrats’ Jan 6 Committee Wiped over 100 Files Just before GOP Took Majority
Members of the Democrats’ anti-Trump Jan. 6 House Select Committee deleted over one hundred encrypted files just before Republicans took control of the chamber last year, a new report has revealed.
The files reportedly contained information gathered during the “investigations” by the never-Trumpers and Democrats on the Committee.
The Committee, which sought to frame Jan. 6 as an “insurrection” that it could pin on President Donald Trump, was disbanded shortly before the Democrats lost control of the House.
However, before Republicans could get access to the files gathered by the members, the Jan. 6 Committee scrubbed a large batch of files to prevent further review.
Led by Chairman Barry Loudermilk (R-GA), the House Administration Committee’s Oversight Subcommittee is leading a probe into protests at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, to determine was actually happened.
