A Democrat congresswoman is rising up against her party’s leaders and revolting against Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) over a “failure of House leadership.”

Rep. Abigail Spanberger (D-VA) fired back after Pelosi refused to call up legislation to ban stock trading by members of Congress and their families.

Spanberger said issued a fiery statement calling for Pelosi’s removal as House speaker and declaring that “the Democratic Party needs new leaders.”

“Our job as elected officials is to serve the people — not ourselves,” Spanberger said.

“That’s why I’ve been proud to lead the charge on legislation to ban Members of Congress and their immediate families from trading individual stocks — not only because it’s the right thing to do, but because the Virginians I represent overwhelmingly support it and want us to get it done.

I admire Abigail for this, but she seems to misunderstand that mafia nature of the Democratic Party. Making money for politicians at public expense is why the Democratic Party exists.

Don't be fooled. Spanberger is ex-CIA and playing a role. This noise is what she needs to do not to lose her seat this November. After November, if re-elected, will revert to being the Pelosi lapdog.
