#lostmiramaryearbooks If you go to high school, college, or graduate school in the US, you are offered the option of purchasing a yearbook for the year just finished. This book is a treasure trove of information, pictures of you and your friends, precious memories, etc.
My 1966 and 1967 Miramar yearbooks for Ross S. Sterling High School in Houston got lost. In most cases, one can go online and replace the lost yearbook. Sadly, these two yearbooks were not available online.
In 2014, one of our readers was kind enough to loan me his 1966 and 1967 Miramar yearbooks. I had to return them to him this year. I sent the yearbooks to a professional yearbook printer some months ago. They made copies of the yearbooks. They sent the originals back to the owner. I waited in anticipation for weeks for my copies of the yearbooks to arrive. I walked out of the front door of the house in the evening. I saw two packages on the stair rails. I knew what they were. I came inside and took the two yearbooks out of the packages. I started to review the 1966 Miramar from 56 years ago. It is a work of art and so well done! I discovered that one of my teachers, James "Big Jim" Altman was a Tulane graduate! I shared the contents with Elena. Today I will review the 1967 yearbook. A part of my life that I thought was gone for good was returned to me. It's always nice to get good surprises.

The surprise is the Carolina Panther's cheerleader.

I attended a Panthers' game about five years ago. I was shocked at the obscenity laden crap music they were blasting during pre-game. Ho's, bitches, fuck you up, nigger, gangster, etc., etc. There were lots of families with kids in the stands. That and the disrespect for the country and flag, the kneeling and the woke ideology - fuck professional sports!

My graduate yearbooks were in the era of free speech and the comments nowadays would result in a class action lawsuit. They had no mercy in dissing the members of the classes. The entry for me was satiric, but pretty accurate in its own way.

Lemme guess - your Principal wrote that in.
