Hawaii Senate Dem Majority Leader Gets 3 Years in Prison for Bribery

Former Senate Majority Leader J. Kalani English, 55, pleaded guilty to honest services wire fraud in February, admitting he accepted bribes from a Hawaii business owner in exchange for shaping legislation that would benefit a company involved in publicly financed cesspool conversion projects...

English “peddled the power and influence of his position as a Hawaii State Senator and Majority Leader to enrich himself and betray the trust bestowed upon him by those he was elected to serve,” U.S. prosecutors said in a sentencing memo urging the judge to send him to prison for three-and-a-half years.

The sentence, a little more than three years, must send a “stern and lasting message” that corruption of elected officials will be punished, the memo said. ...

Choy is a prolific donor, as are his immediate family members and business associates. Choy, his family members, and his employees from various companies have donated more than $356,000 to political campaigns since 2014, according to campaign finance data. Of that, Choy has contributed more than $160,000 to the elections and reelections of numerous Democrats.

Choy himself has donated to 55 campaigns — including 29 sitting lawmakers — since 2014. Money has gone to former Gov. Neil Abercrombie and current Gov. David Ige. He has most recently contributed to former Honolulu Mayor Kirk Caldwell’s campaign for governor, and to Honolulu Mayor Rick Blangiardi’s campaign.

"Stern and lasting message" my ass. Only life in prison will do. Singapore is a much better country than the US in this way.

Anheuser-Busch Lobbyists Sell Access to Democratic Congressional Staff
The Bud Light maker owns a secret bar in Washington, D.C. for political insiders.

Carefully hidden inside an otherwise nondescript office tower in the middle of Washington, D.C., with a sweeping view of Pennsylvania Avenue, there’s a secret bar just for political insiders.

Last Thursday, I was promptly kicked out of it.

The lobbying division of Anheuser-Busch, the beer-making conglomerate that produces Bud Light, Michelob, and other brands, owns the bar. The invitation-only pub is off-limits to the public, and the event I briefly attended was an ethically-dubious influence-peddling operation.

Hunter’s “artworks,” which were panned by art critics, sold for upward of $500,000 per piece.

However, new evidence has now confirmed that Hunter Biden did learn the identity of two buyers of his “art.”

You will not be surprised to learn that one of them got a favor from the Biden White House.

The buyer is Democrat donor Elizabeth Hirsh Naftali, a Los Angeles real estate investor and philanthropist.

In July 2022, eight months after Hunter Biden’s first art opening, Joe Biden announced Hirsh Naftali’s appointment to the Commission for the Preservation of America’s Heritage Abroad.

The ongoing investigation into Hunter Biden’s tax affairs and overseas business dealings has come under increased scrutiny recently, revealing disturbing connections that raise serious questions about conflicts of interest.

According to a report from Fox News, a thorough examination of Chief Deputy Attorney General of Delaware Alexander Snyder-Mackler, his association with the Biden family, and the investigation into Hunter Biden brings to light a concerning web of relationships that demands closer scrutiny.

Mackler’s long-standing ties with the Bidens cannot be overlooked, having served as Joe Biden’s legal counsel during his vice presidency and as a press secretary during the former senator’s tenure between 2007 and 2008.

Perhaps even more significant is the fact, Mackler’s stint as an assistant United States attorney in the Delaware U.S. Attorney’s office coincided with the federal inquiry into Hunter Biden’s financial affairs.

While the specifics of Mackler’s involvement in the probe remain elusive, his prominent position in the office investigating the president’s son raises legitimate concerns about impartiality.

Intriguingly, emails retrieved from Hunter Biden’s laptop, verified by Fox News, depict a close relationship between Mackler and Hunter Biden, with Mackler signing off one email with “Love you brother.”

One need not be a Dem donor or even a Dem at all to buy a Hunter original. Just someone who needs to remit a payment for a favor.

Why would that matter? The Dem donor already paid a bribe. What needs to be tied together is what painting buyer suddenly got special treatment. A Dem fan boy buying a Hunter payment will just come across like a Trump fan buying a signed red hat.

REMEMBER THIS?

When Joe Biden OPENLY Bragged About Getting A Ukrainian Prosecutor Fired

BIDEN: "I said, 'I'm leaving in six hours. If the prosecutor is not fired, you're NOT getting the money.' Well, son of a b*tch. He got fired."

Hunter had a no-work job on the board of Burisma paying $50,000/month.

The job was entirely to be connected to Pedo Joe so that Joe could do things like withhold US aid to Ukraine unless the prosecutor investigating Burisma got fired.

Trump attempted to expose Pedo Joe's corruption and got impeached for it.

Nothing at all happened to Pedo Joe even when he publicly bragged about abusing his office to influence US foreign policy so that his son could rake in $50K/month for doing nothing at all.

You know, when I think about it, the push for the poke and croak, the resources available on PatNet (@Rin, among others), ivermectin, the @Rin cocktail. I'm half of the opinion that Patnet saved my family's life, or at least spared us multiple seasons of "illness and death." Thanks @Patrick, @Rin, and @richwicks, for keeping my family largely out of harm's way.

What did I do?

The only thing I did was say this injection is bullshit as was the "pandemic", and I concluded that in part by @OnVacation - he went through CDC stats and it was pretty clear we were never in a pandemic.

This has been a wake up call to me too. I didn't think they could lie about outright data, but they can. I remember 20 years ago, if a company pulled some shit, a bunch of engineers would expose because they'd go through the math or stats - nobody does this anymore and when they do, the information doesn't get far.

We’ve all picked up on the “carrots and sticks” employed to ensure compliance with the Covid narratives.

For example, the “scientists,” public health experts, doctors and hospitals who supported the authorized Covid narrative were literally paid vast sums of money for following the CDC and NIH’s medical protocols.

If a patient was classified as having Covid, the hospital and medical provider received a significant financial bonus. Using ventilators got them more money. Prescribing remdesivir (“run-death-is-near”) was a source of extra profit.

Congress, tapping into the unlimited line of credit from its Magic Printing Press, kicked in extra money to reward people, organizations, states and cities who went along with all the harmful and unnecessary “mitigation” measures.

Scientists at colleges who produce studies that fit the narrative received major grants from Dr. Fauci’s pool of bribery funds.

The mainstream press and the scientific journals were rewarded with advertising spends (and Bill Gates’ journalism grants) if they continued to promote all the false or dubious narratives. ...

It’s now public record that Fauci and Dr. Francis Collins of the NIH targeted the authors of the Great Barrington Declaration for severe reprisals. For some interesting reason, both public health leaders also pushed the “natural origins” theory of this virus and made sure those who disagreed were censored and pilloried by sycophant allies in the mainstream press. ...

The best example is probably the case study of Julian Assange, who committed the “crime” of publishing TRUE information about the Military Industrial Complex (most significantly by exposing likely war crimes in the Iraq War).

After he did this, Assange felt it necessary to flee to the sanctuary of a friendly embassy in London. After several years, the governments of the UK and America figured out a way to arrest Assange and he’s spent the last several years isolated (and silent) in prison.

At this writing, the U.S. government is still trying to extradite this Australian citizen to America to try him for “treason” and keep him in prison until he dies. ...

The same message has been sent to the many people arrested for the January 6 “Insurrection” at the U.S. Capitol.

I’m not sure how many of these protestors are still in jail today, but the number is large. Many of these protestors - most of whom simply walked through a public building - have been jailed without bail for years and some have been kept in atrocious, solitary-confinement conditions. ...

The Establishment actually fears only two things:
Losing control … and thus losing their continued wealth and power and their ability to complete their unfinished agendas.

Being exposed as criminals themselves, which very possibly would result in them spending the rest of their lives in the same type prison cell as Julian Assange, or even worse - possible death sentences.

Last week, MedPage Today ran a story headlined, “Top Patient Advocacy Orgs Have Industry Ties in Leadership, Study Shows.” The sub-headline added, “Half had paid staff or executives with pharma and medical device conflicts of interest.”

In other words, Big Pharma has captured the pro-patient charities.

Patient Advocacy Organizations (PAOs) are charitable non-profits allegedly organized to represent patient interests. They include organizations like American Cancer Society, the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research, the Cancer Research Institute, and the Foundation Fighting Blindness — which were all found to have leaders with direct ties to big pharma.

According to a recent research letter published in JAMA Internal Medicine, 75% of the 50 biggest PAOs in the U.S. have board members or senior leadership with ties to the pharmaceutical or medical device industry, in many cases working for industry and the charity at the same time.

Study co-author Shamik Bhat, BS, Yale School of Medicine, told MedPage, "the vast majority of these groups have not only financial ties, but now we can see that they also have deep integration in their boards, and their higher-up leadership, with industry."

The data wasn’t easy for the researchers to find. Regulations do not require nonprofits to disclose broad conflicts of interest like these. The study researchers had to scour personal websites and LinkedIn profiles to discover industry ties to PAO leadership. "Whether it's intentional or not, I think transparency for a lot of these patient advocacy organizations is a pretty significant weakness at the moment," Bhat noted.

You don’t say.

All in all, a completely unsurprising finding, and it explains a lot about how these groups all fell immediately in line with government policy during the pandemic, including opposing early covid treatments and pushing mandates, expensive deadly medicines, and the ventilator.

How convenient for the Obama coalition, and the establishment government now under attack by two populist movements, Occupy Wall Street and the Tea Party to slander them with charges of racism. As Vivek Ramaswamy points out in his book Woke, Inc., their way of wriggling out of the mess of the $700 billion bailout was to pivot to social justice and racism specifically.

... Is it merely a coincidence that the sharp drop in COVOD diagnoses coincided with the end of special federal reimbursement for COVID cases?

Simple suggestion: if the Branch COVIDians want the COVID numbers to soar again, just get Washington to reinstitute having reimbursement formulas. Problem solved!

Until I was about thirty, I walked around with the smug assumption that the United States was free from the bribery and graft that I heard about while traveling in Mexico and various African countries. With the Financial Crisis of 2008, it became evident to me that bribery in the United States isn’t a matter of greasing the palms of state officials with cash, but by intimating that a lucrative job awaits them after they leave government service.

Peter Doshi—senior editor at the BMJ and associate professor at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy—just published a report titled The FDA and Moderna’s cosy relationship: how lax rules enable a revolving door culture in which he recounts how two senior FDA officials who played substantial roles in approving Moderna’s COVID-19 shot later got jobs working at Moderna.

The two officials noted in Doshi’s report—Dr. Doran Fink and Dr. Jaya Goswami—are merely the latest in the revolving door between the FDA and the Big Pharma companies its officials are supposed to regulate.

Judicial Watch: DC Government Spends $270,000 To Repaint “Black Lives Matter” on Street Near White House

Judicial Watch announced today it received 25 pages of records in a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request from the Washington, DC Department of Transportation which show the cost to taxpayers to repaint the Black Lives Matter slogan on a street in the nation’s capital was over $270,000. (The repainting seems to have taken place shortly before Black Lives Matter groups began defending Hamas terrorist murders of Jews in Israel.)
