We will not be at war with Russia: Russia can't even punish Sweden and Finland for joining NATO or Lithuania for blockading Kenigsberg because it has its hands full with waging the war on Ukraine, so they know better then attack the US. And we won't attack Russia proper, because there is nothing we want in Russia. There is nothing of value there, except oil, bears and cheap whores of which we already have plenty at home. Russia is a paper bear militarily. They can only try to intimidate and conquer a much smaller (and thoroughly disarmed by us previously) neighbor and only one at a time. The doctrine of "hybrid war" was smart because it was using fake image of puffed-up Russian military strengths to get real political and economical gains. Breaking out of it and starting a full-out land war against something bigger then Georgia was immensely stupid.

But Putin is a stupid cunt, so it figures.
