But is it?

In 1931 an over assumptions academic saw a rush to add to Webster's Dictionary an entry which was the abbreviation for "Density" the Entry was "D or d".
The all knowing academic assumed that person that sent it over placed arrant spaces, possibly to over emphasize its spelling. It was not corrected until another 15 years later.
Quite an embarrassment, but no worries in 2015 an Irish composer attempted to recreate an ancient Irish horn they dubbed the Dord. Though there's no other reference to it.
So the next time you're playing scrabble, and some dense know it all tries to tell you "Dord" isn't a word, you can tell them about the erroneous 1931 entry in the Webster's dictionary. To which if they argue, it was removed some 15 years later as an error. You can just tell them they wouldn't know a Dord Fian from a Celtic battle cry.

I offer up Dord as the word of the year. It best describes the Democrat or democrat's rush to push and believe anything, and their even greater rush to make an untrue true.
