The media seems certain this will be a cold winter. Europe was extremely hot and dry this summer. Google said it was 104 degrees F. All 3 mercury thermostats outside of my house (kept in the shade), showed 108 degrees F.

I asked her and she said where she is gas is about 9 dollars a gallon, but the town has a large reserve of fuel oil and gas that will last for the winter. She lives in an 800 year old renovated house with walls three feet thick, so there is some insulation there. She didn't seem concerned at all about the energy crisis stuff.

And what happens when the reserve goes out? LNG reserves comprise only 20% of what they need, too.

And when German industry shuts down, it can't be restarted on a dime. And w/o industry, Germany Inc is fucked.

I think MOST of Europe will limp through this winter. Next winter... Not so certain. This stupid war is going to drag on for years. That will make the MIC happy. The US has been trying to restart the cold war, and finally, they were successful.

If you freeze to death in an enclosed structure, you kind of deserve to die in my world. A moron could heat a home with 30-60 minutes of preparation. If you can't figure that out, die. Good riddance.
