Hey @mell - was it YOU that I promised an Amiga simulation image of? If so, I FINALLY got one together. My brother asked to me make a arcade machine for his grandson. I found a retropi image, and finally got the Amiga roms. They are SO DIFFICULT to find now, but I have a complete set.

You can run an Amiga simulator on your machine with UAE. Basically, you just need the right proms and chips (virtual proms and chips) for the desired machine and I have them all, finally.

If it's not you, well, I need to check my email. I do know though, you do NOT want an actual Amiga. It's PAINFUL to use one now but it still plays the games, if that's what you want to do..

You're not interested in accelerating your semi-retirement? ;) Can't wait building enough fuck you money. Yes that was me, once I have time to get back to it I'd like to see if I can install an Amiga image on one of my machines, thx for looking into it.

It's pretty easy to install UAE on any machine, the problem is finding the roms.

I have a rule of investing, I won't invest in what destroys our civilization. That puts me out of social media, and pharma as well as defense contractors.

Let me put together a package for you for UAE. I think you're running Linux? You can just install UAE from the command line with:

sudo apt install fs-uae fs-uae-launcher

I have to gather the roms to one point, and (re) discover which roms/kickstarters you need to use for each version of the Amiga (1000, 500, 600, 1200, CD-TV, etc) You were probably on a 500, so I'll concentrate on that one. I'll give you all the roms/kickstarters but it won't do you much good unless you know which goes with which.

Funny to see something that was once "state of the art" to be so painful to use today.
