In somewhat shocking but oddly believable news, U.S. Rep. Bennie Thompson, the former chair of the January 6th committee, says that no one on the committee had access to the videos from January 6th.
They were literally reading all their talking points off of teleprompters with carefully edited footage, that none of them had reviewed first hand. It was just spoon-fed to them by television producer James Goldston and other staff members.
That makes one wonder if the January 6th defendants had the opportunity to review the footage in preparing their defense at trial.
The answer to that would also be NO.
U.S. District Court Judge James Boasberg is pushing through dozens of trials before the accused can review the footage for new evidence in their cases.
He told the defense attorneys they would have to demonstrate how the footage would help their clients before he would give them time to review it.
And this next part would be funny if it weren't.
It turns out not even the prosecutors were able to access the footage.
Proud Boys J6 Sedition Trial Halted After Leaked Chat Logs Show FBI Agent Said Her Boss Ordered Her To "Destroy Evidence"
Three undercover Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) officers joined the march of protesters up the northwest side of the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021—including one who climbed over a barricade and pushed others toward the Capitol and another who walked behind Ashli Babbitt and predicted that “someone will get shot,” according to newly disclosed court documents.
New filings by Jan. 6 defendant William Pope of Topeka, Kansas, also show MPD bicycle officers stopping four armed men in plainclothes on Jan. 6. The men turned out to be federal agents. Video included with Pope’s filings also shows uniformed MPD officers saying, “We were set up [to fail on Jan. 6].”
Information in the court papers is likely to rekindle the debate about the role that undercover officers and agents played in the riots of Jan. 6 and why the U.S. Department of Justice and federal judges have kept the evidence under seal and away from public view.
“This video clearly evidences undercover law enforcement officers urging the crowds to advance up the stairs and scaffolding towards the Capitol on January 6,” Pope wrote in one motion. “The government may claim that incidents like this did not happen, but the facts show they did.
“Since the government cannot be trusted to disclose these facts, it becomes even more important that defense teams, including Pro Se defendants, be able to directly examine the evidence.” ...
Officers in that section of the Capitol were looking for a man who might have been armed. Someone asked the Capitol Police supervisor how they could identify undercover operatives.
“They will have a wristband. Their guns will have a candy stripe on the barrel,” he said. “I don’t know the wristband color, but they’ll have a wristband somewhere.”
Utopias by their nature have only two options if they’re to survive. They must lean into totalitarianism or collapse. We’re now at the moment when the Democrats, with complete control of the legacy media, nearly all major institutions of power — including those run by the government — are slowly adopting totalitarian practices to shut out speech they don’t like. ...
What were they so afraid of anyway? Why not show us what was in those tapes? Because it embarrassed the Democrats and their obedient press who, for years now, have defamed and smeared Jacob Chansley as the face of the “White supremacist armed insurrection” to overthrow the US government and install the second Confederacy.
That was a lie.
Almost everything they said happened at the Capitol that day didn’t happen the way they said it did. We’ve never gotten the full story. We got their narrative, the one that was useful to them, the one they believe would stop Trump and MAGA or at least give them permission to wage war against their own citizens. ...
They have to side with the official story or they will be severely punished on Twitter. It might not seem like a big deal but your entire reputation, your status - all of it could go up in smoke in minutes if you dared contradict the party line, which is all over Twitter long before the headlines roll out. It’s the job of every citizen on the Left to go along with it. Anyone who doesn’t will be given the boot — out of our utopia, you must go. ...
If there is one thing I’ve learned about Trump supporters in the past three years I’ve spent time in that world it’s that they pride themselves on being non-violent. You have to understand what it means to be a patriot. They see themselves as protectors of Democracy, of America. They weren’t trying to overthrow the government or attempt a coup. They were doing the opposite. They believed they were saving the country from the Democrats. ... @jazz_music
Tucker Carlson is one of the few people who understands what Trump supporters are actually like, as opposed to the cartoon versions of them the media has been selling.
Charges would stick if Trump had done what they said he did. ...
The Twitter Files, like the January 6th footage, threaten their narrative. That’s why they needed full control of Twitter and why they’re throwing temper tantrums now that it’s been wrested from them. If their narrative is vulnerable, so are they. ...
How did I know they were lying about January 6th? Because I used to do it too. I was one of them. I know the game. I lied right alongside them because to us it wasn’t lying. It was winning.
They’re still lying about January 6th. They’re lying that it was rooted in racism and “white supremacy.” They’re lying that Trump ordered it or inspired it or instigated it. They’re lying that the violence was planned by the MAGA movement. They’re lying about “seditious conspiracy,” and the biggest lie of all is that it was an “armed insurrection” against the government.
None of that was true then and none of it is true today.
March 20 (Reuters) - Philadelphia will pay $9.25 million to settle a class-action lawsuit brought by racial justice protesters who accused police of abusing them at a 2020 rally following the killing of George Floyd, the city said on Monday.
As the Democrats try desperately to cling onto their failed “violent insurrection” narrative for Jan. 6, they conveniently forgot about the massive skeleton lurking in former President Bill Clinton’s closet.
Before he left office, Clinton commuted the sentence of some domestic terrorists who actually bombed the U.S. Capitol in 1983.
On November 7, 1983, at 11 pm, a bomb ripped through the second floor of the U.S. Capitol’s Senate wing.
In May 1988 FBI agents arrested seven members of the terrorist group that set off the bomb: “Resistance Conspiracy.”
Those arrested for the plot were:
Marilyn Jean Buck
Linda Sue Evans, Susan Rosenberg
Timothy Blunk
Alan Berkman
Laura Whitehorn
Elizabeth Ann Duke.
On his last day in office, January 20, 2001, Bill Clinton commuted the sentences of Evans and Rosenberg.
WASHINGTON, D.C. — After two years in captivity, the QAnon buffalo guy has been tagged and released back into the wild to roam the plains once again.
"Wow... just look at him go. No creature that majestic should be in a cage," said Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene with a tear in her eye. "Run free, Buffalo Guy! You are among your American buffalo brethren once again!"
The news of Buffalo Guy's release has shaken Washington, with Democrat politicians running and hiding in terror upon hearing the news. "This is dangerous! Such a deadly wild animal should have been put down long ago! Who authorized this?" said a terrified Senator Chuck Schumer from under his desk.
Sources say Buffalo Guy is now free due to the release of additional January 6th footage which showed the docile, lovable creature being gently escorted through the Capitol grounds by a team of trained Capitol Police buffalo handlers.
At publishing time, AOC heard the news and died again.
The “QAnon Shaman” — known for storming the US Capitol shirtless in a horned coyote-fur headdress — was released from prison 14 months early and moved to a halfway house, prison officials said Thursday.
Wow, the news about his release is BULLSHIT, claiming that he "stormed" the Capitol.
Even the NY Post seems infiltrated by liberal idiots or the CIA:

The term stems from the 1963 Supreme Court case Brady v. Maryland, in which the High Court ruled that prosecutors must turn over evidence that could be exculpatory to a defendant in a criminal trial. Suppressing that evidence is a violation of due process rights under the U.S. Constitution.
Only weeks after Tucker Carlson showed unreleased exculpatory footage of Jacob Chansley, the man dubbed the "QAnon Shaman" by the media, he has been released from prison more than a year early.
Jacob Chansley has been moved to a facility in Arizona and official records show that Chansley is scheduled to be released on May 25th, which is more than a year earlier than even the minimum requirement for his conviction with early release.
Federal guidelines allow for reduced prison time due to good behavior, but under those guidelines Chansley would have expected to serve at least 35 months and 22 days of his 41-month sentence.
Instead, he was transferred to the halfway house after just 27 months in prison, including the time served prior to his sentencing.
After Tucker Carlson's exposé on the January 6th tapes that showed the Qanon Shaman being guided through the Capitol and being let into the Senate chambers by the police, many began protesting for the immediate release of Chansley, including Elon Musk.

This should apply to Jacob Chansley's fraudulent conviction and years in prison for being given a tour of the Capitol by the Capitol Police, as is clearly documented on the video Tucker showed.
The prosecution clearly had this video but failed to turn it over. The prosecution must itself be prosecuted now.
QAnon Shaman’s lawyer calls for sanctions against DOJ, prosecutors after his client’s early release
He says withholding exculpatory evidence led to an 'egregious injustice'

Now that Chansley is out of federal custody, his current attorney, William Shipley, who has stepped up to represent several January 6 defendants, has now filed a motion to vacate Chansley's conviction. The motion, filed in federal court on Thursday, argued that the Department of Justice violated its Brady obligation to provide potentially exculpatory evidence to Chansley before he pled and before his sentencing. Because the DOJ withheld the CCTV footage from inside the Capitol building, footage that indicated that Capitol police escorted Chansley throughout his time inside, Shipley claimed that the government had denied Chansley "due process."
The criminals that wrongly convicted him for purely political reasons have committed an extremely serious crime against America.
Russia has always been that way.
America is only now starting to imprison political dissidents. It must be stopped, and the people doing it must themselves be prosecuted and imprisoned.
We love and cherish CCCP on this site,
Don't be overly dramatic: they acted exactly like OUR GREAT CHRISTIAN LEADER (GCL) except that Shaman guy got only 2 years for trespassing insted of 25 years for speaking against the war (a.k.a "discrediting the military") like our GCL is dishing out to his subjects. And we love and cherish our GCL!!!
Why should anybody pay you any attention when you still think the USSR continues to exist?
I'm being under dramatic along with many of my patriot brothers. We believe in America, the Constitution, (especially the bill of rights) and want liberty and justice for all. We are were a bit confused about how America changed so fast.
We now realize the alphabets (FBI CIA IRS etc.) have colluded with globalists to create a fascist system. They started before they killed Kennedy and their goal seems to be a new feudalism.

It's called trolling.
We're going to go into collapse, just like the USSR. The only thing holding us together is a bunch of propaganda and lies, and that will fail in time.

Everyone in prison from the FBI's Jan 6th entrapment scheme is an American national hero.
Every one of them should not only be freed and given several million dollars each, paid out of the FBI budget, they should be given the US Medal of Honor for daring to stand up against the corrupt FBI/Democrat oligarchy which defrauded US citizens in the 2020 presidential election.
They were unarmed, goaded by FBI into walking into the doors that were specifically unlocked to let them in, given tours (see buffalo man), and then arrested.
False noise was added to the video to make it sound violent.
The whole thing was entrapment and fraud from the beginning.
