And it took them literally centuries. 600 years for the Cologne cathedral, 500 for Milan, 200 for Nothre-Dame de Paris, etc.

Yep. Just think of all the people who were able to work and make a living doing such a beautiful thing. I guess it’s better to be built by way fewer people in a fraction of the time and probably for the same price so 1 or 2 people can have all the profit instead of hundreds and hundreds of people over hundreds of years?

I believe things are going to get very interesting over the next 20, 50 and 100 years.
