They should also means test all of the young people on SS disability. They're a lot of able bodied people that get SSDI. Social Security and welfare office's main purpose is to pay administrators and perpetuate poverty.
My guess is the US federal government remains solvent by eventually reducing Social Security payments to "rich and well-off senior citizens", as part of some means test.
As it should be.

Gold is impractical for everyday use.
Silver by weight is best. They should call the currence the "ounce" and make it 0.9999 pure silver.
We could all just start using silver by weight with each other even if it makes the Fed cry. Especially if it makes the Fed cry.
