Yup we see them a couple times a year in Sacramento, they are stationed at Beale AFB. Completely silent on the descent too, they take you by surprise.

At the airshow they had one land and take off and it was LOUD.

They have a modified U-2 that can monitor land traffic, I believe. A U-2 can map all of California in about 4 hours to a half foot in accuracy.
