No I think he was just put on the case so the MSM could keep speculating that there was any "THERE" there, in their case. The MSM was free to hyperbole about how they were going to take down his whole family and keep Stormy Daniels nothing burger in the news cycle, and excuse to drag out her lawyer Michael Scumbagneli.

I think this is one of Trump's cognitive dissonance that Scott Adams talked about in 2016. As ripe with fraud as our judicial system is, it's not happening. Government employees like to keep their jobs and pension. An attorney is a service based employed person. If I want to pay $100k to a porn star to get $1M in fees from a rich client for other services, I have every right to do that. It's not remotely illegal as long as a NDA was signed, which I believe it was in this case.

Put a different way. If I pay off your water bill of $100 to get a $1,000 job for a water heater install as a plumber is that illegal? That's literally how business is done.
