Here we go. At least the DOJ makes it even easier to separate the Grifters and the Reluctant Trumpers and the Never Trumpers from the MAGA or die crowd.
Count me in the former. I wished Trump had Crossed the River in Italy years ago.
I don't see how Manning and Assange had two different tiers of justice. Both have been fucked 6 ways from Sunday - I think Assange got it worse. I think he's broken now, and the US won't extradite him, they've done a good job at destroying him and will let him be, as a 1/2 of his former self.
Neither should have been prosecuted. PERHAPS Manning, minimally. She (He? Who gives a shit?) exposed criminality of our government. At worst a slap on the wrist, at best, a medal and prosecution of the criminals in our military that he/she exposed. I have no ill will toward Manning. Manning was a whistleblower. Manning exposed crimes, he (or she) didn't betray this nation, Manning only exposed crimes.
We have fucking war criminals in our military now. Of course, our government hasn't had a legitimate war since at least 1945, and even then, I'm not certain. The only war I think the US was involved in was entirely legitimate was 1775 to 1783.
