Woke originally meant being aware that there was no difference between the establishment left and right, and that it made no difference who was in power.

Today, it means believing the propaganda nonsense of the government. For example that "woman" isn't clearly defined, that a black person can't be a racist bigot, that equity is more important than competence in hiring, that Russia hacked our election, etc. There's hundreds of examples.

Woke is the vernacular equivalent to the Fist imagery in Marxist propaganda.
