They were announced. Countries announce what they are going to attack to other nations because there's no reason to kill people, it's a demonstration of power. Iran was like "we're going to attack X, better get out, and try to stop us!", so they got out, attempted to stop them, and failed. It's a demonstration of what they CAN do.

Israel is weak, they didn't announce their planned attacks. Iran didn't intend to kill anybody, Israel did.

Everybody is like "Iran is EVIL!!!", no they aren't. They are very calculated and extremely direct. They know killing people doesn't actually do anything, it's just another sock puppet to replace them. They are just showing they can attack any location, Iron Dome or not. Iran just demonstrated quite plainly they can defend themselves and they can defeat "the most moral army in the world", if they want. They can bomb any location in Israel they want.
