None of the Indiana Jones movies would have been worth a shit, had it not been for fog machines and blue flood lighting.
Those old school analogue special effects are obsolete now. The best an Indiana Jones movie could be, is as bad as the best Marvel movie they put out these days. As the art of movie making is antiquated. They don't even need Harrison Ford anymore. They can just AI it, and put it on Amazon Prime and then recycle it on Netflix. The filth subscribers can just eat it up. But I wont!

It just needs some more purple haired droids, castrated tots, inappropriate crowbarred ethnics and fifth generation Hollywood Mockingbird dynastic script doctor brats bereft of basic logic or anything resembling life wisdom to get it back on track to be the glorious franchise it once was.

Critical Drinker is great. Nerdrotic and of course Overlord DVD are great. I don't even watch Supie Hewoe movies or any woke remakes, I just enjoy their commentary.

Aside from the usual male hero bashing, etc, when I read the summary, I was irritated that once again, Indy & Marion GET BACK TOGETHER FOR THE FOURTH TIME!
WTF!
Their first breakup, back at the Univ of Chicago during the 1920s, was the backdrop story for the original movie, 'Raiders of The Lost Ark' which took place in the 1930s. Back in the 20s, the age gap between Indy, as a graduate student, and Marion, his academic advisor's only child (possibly a teenager circa 16-17), created a wedge which setup the present time story rather well. And then, as the movie concluded, they were a reconciled couple, going out for a bite to eat after the US govt confiscated the Ark from Marcus & Indy.
Afterwards, it was obvious that somewhere between Raiders & Holy Grail, Marion and Indy went their separate ways. This is breakup number two.
Then ... came the crappy 4th movie, Crystal Skull, where for the third time, Indy and Marion get back together but now that had a out-of-wedlock teenage son in Mutt (Shia LeBeouf) and this was the 1950s. This useless film concluded with a formal wedding ceremony between Indy & Marion.
And finally, in movie number 5, they apparently break up again during the 1960s, after Mutt is killed in 'Nam and so the movie is setup ... so that they reconcile for the 4th time by the conclusion.
Sorry folks, but this is fucking retarded. Seriously, how does one go from one of the greatest action films of all time in 'Raiders of the Lost Ark' to recycled trash? And no, the 4th time is not a charm, even if this was a Rom-Com in a parallel dimension.
