15 People Died, 24 Seriously Injured in Shooting at Prague’s Faculty of Philosphy
The incident happened at around three o’clock at the faculty’s main building on Jan Palach Square in the city centre, the police have said.
The shooter, who is believed to have acted alone, was killed by the police and the building was evacuated. The entire area around the square remains closed off, and traffic is been diverted.
An interesting tidbit:
the shooter, by the name of David Kozak, while Czech citizen, is a Russian speaker. He had a telegram account where he says that he is out to kill, and was inspired by a shoolgirl in Southern Russia who took a gun to school and shot several kids.
Now the question which wil be asked, but probably not answered, will be if he is of Russian or Ukrainian origin. Also, is ths so-called "false flag" or a crazy person.
Another question which will not be posed in US media, will be - how come in Europe with plently gun restrictions mass shootings still happen.
