About time states stood up to the the feds on more than just cannabis.

Mis Suegros drove to LA to apply for naturalization for my wife and her brothers. My co-worker from Mexicali was very proud of taking the citizenship test and becoming an American. Fuck illegals. Supporting them is disrespectful to everyone who put in the hard work to do it right.

Fuck other countries, have some pride and fly an American flag first.

You need to hear the whole interview. Fetterman did indeed say that immigration was changing our nation but claimed that change was for the best.

Fetterman: "Undeniably- immigration is changing our nation"

Irrelevant because it does not change the essence of what he said.

Eh, I'll skip a trip if there's snow in the south. Used to it here in IL. I don't own a diesel engine vehicle, but they are legit retarded not understanding the trucks won't start if it's cold. Boats. No clue how to drive on snow covered roads. It's a death wish.

I will never drive in TN if there's snow. You'll end up in a pile up and hopefully not dead. Never ever ever in TX.

I've realized it's true that Texas is very close to the bottom of states for personal freedoms.

Some damn Christian nationalist conservatives apparently used chatGPT to list every friggin plant that has ever been used or considered to be used as any sort of drug or hallucinogenic. Maybe some by native Americans back in the day I don't know. Most I'd heard of but not in that way. At. All.

They are about to pass a bill to not only ban them, allow your property to be confiscated if you have them but also criminalize them as pentalty-1: I think >300 grams is life in prison but that might 99 and life is >400 grams.

These plants are wild all over Texas. I think they removed it but one was Texas Mountain Laurel which is just a sort of scrub tree with nice looking purple flowers. All over my dad's yard.

Another is thornapple which nobody in their right mind would ever take and is a scourge for ranchers because it fucks up their cattle. You literally lose your mind, sometimes for good from that shit. It is not pleasant or fun.

Marigolds too I think? A bunch of stuff. Just ban ban ban... Criminalize criminalize criminalize.

Instead of doing good things like maybe finally fixing the effed up health care in this state - other than the weather and food the only thing I miss about leaving CA. Well, and friends too I suppose.

The bill's sponsor is a fucking CPA.

Yeah, we can have guns and it's a right to work state but that's about it.
