The plebeians of the army staged a walkout at one point, leaving Rome and setting up camp nearby. This forced the patricians to compromise, because without the plebeians there was no one to fight or do manual work. Maybe modern Westerners could do something similar.

By donating to NGOs and sponsoring DEI courses, they dodge what they hate, not being invited to parties or worse, not being able to set themselves up as morally superior to their employees.
By being an ally, sponsoring Woke, Immigration, etc., they get to sit in the front row at the Episopagan Church flanked by Rainbow flags while they import even cheaper labor and raise rents.

I've been reading about early Rome in Plutarch's Lives lately, and wow is this all familiar stuff.
