Goldberg defended the president's presidential debate performance.
"I have poopy days all the time, all the time. I step in so much poo you can’t even imagine," she said. "Now, I’m not running the world, but I don’t know anybody who doesn’t step in stuff at some point."
Goldberg chimed in to fend off the criticism that he's "too old."
"We’re not talking about you’re too old to do the job. That is not the concern," she said.

A person familiar with the matter told CNN that the decision was made to avoid a scenario in which one of the show’s stable of two dozen-plus guests might make an inappropriate comment on live television that could be used to assail the program and network as a whole. Given the breaking news nature of the story, the person said, it made more sense to continue airing rolling breaking news coverage in the fraught political moment.
As Biden stumbled through his final, possibly terminal, press conference, he did manage to make one clear point: that Trump and his ilk were a threat to Nato. Why the average American voter should care as much as the tbose assembled in Washington, he did not say. And while the eyes of the world watched this very public demonstration of his vulnerability, it was clear that the future of Nato and the entire transatlantic order will be determined by who is elected president in November. The summit that was supposed to be a celebration of the alliance’s stability and longevity was instead a testament to its frailty.
