https://sashastone.substack.com/p/life-in-a-very-liberal-town

I’ve been chatting with a woman who walks her dog around town. She’s one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. After I broke my arm, she advised me on how to exercise it back to health. She is a Pilates teacher. We always say hello and have been doing so for a while.

Today, our conversation went a little deeper than usual. It was something about getting old and how fast time goes by the older you get. And it’s true. It does. I said to her, “I can’t believe it’s Friday already.”

Then she said, “Things are getting so scary. November is coming.” I pretended not to know what she was talking about. I didn’t add to the conversation or pretend to agree. I just said, “And it’s so hot.”

“We do seem to have just gotten some hope,” she said. I imagine that to her, hope means Kamala Harris now has the nomination. Again, I said nothing. What could I say? “It was looking dire for a while there,” and that I took to mean Biden, she believed, could not beat Trump.

I didn’t say, “Can you believe Donald Trump was shot just 13 days ago?” I couldn’t say that. I could not ding her hope, what little she had. I quickly pivoted again, “I can’t believe Summer is almost over! It’s July!”

We’d reached a door we could not open, a conversation we could not have. I realized it was expected that I was in her tribe. I fit the demographic. I live in this town. It would never occur to her that someone like me might not agree with her that a Kamala Harris presidency represents hope. Quite the opposite.

I smiled, and we tried to continue our conversation, but I left shortly after that, leaving the odd conversation hanging in the air. She would no doubt think about it and wonder why I didn’t go further. Did she not understand what I meant, she might wonder. Would that thought take her further?

She might google me and find out pretty quickly why I said nothing. Then what? Would she still say hello to me? Would she still invite to come and do yoga with her and a group of women once a week? I’d like to think so, but I don’t know.

It just made me think how strange our lives are now, how we are on such opposite sides, and how our votes could instantly end a potential friendship. I could hear her explaining it later to her boyfriend, “Then I found out she was a Trump supporter.”

If I could be honest with her, I would try to tell her that there is nothing to fear with Trump, that it’s a media narrative that got out of hand and inadvertently caused a mass hysteria event that we’re still not all the way through. I’ve tried to have that conversation with so many people over the years, but it has never gone well.

My dog Jack is funny. When I see he’s scared, I always say, “It’s okay, Jack.” But somehow, telling him that always makes him more anxious. To him, his fear is something he won’t give up, certainly not if I try to tell him that he has nothing to fear.

The same would be true if I tried to tell this woman that the truth awaits on the other side of the delusion. She would do what my dog does: Glance back at me before trying to get away as fast as she could.

And so went my Friday morning.

In the other America, Trump is headed back to Butler, PA. What a great thing to do.

The "nicest person I ever met walking her dog" is a crazy bitch who should be ignored whenever possible.

🚨Approximately 30 minutes ago, Gab learned that Thomas Crooks, the deranged Joe Biden supporter who attempted to assassinate President Donald Trump, may have had an account on our platform. We are unable to confirm that the account in question actually belonged to him.

Be careful of the guy who got grant after grant in his PRIVATE college (it sounds like public college name, but it's not), didn't work anywhere long enough at the incubator for FU money or a good stash, and whose parents declared bankruptcy before Gab got going and don't come from money, who has endless funds for a website that gets "hacked" on the regular for it's users address, phone, and CC info.

ABC interviewed the Butler, PA SWAT Team yesterday. Among other things, the obviously unhappy team members said that they had NO communication with the Secret Service until after Trump and the others were shot. No briefing, no comms. Which, needless to say, is not normal.

@RyanAFournier
WOAH.

The local SWAT team from Butler, PA claims they had NO COMMS with Secret Service prior to the shooting.

They were supposed to meet them upon arrival and it never happened.

Something smells rotten.

If Butler County cops can talk to media, why won’t the Secret Service’s team give any interviews?

9m 27s video from guy very close to the shooter.

New video shows shooter's perch being surrounded by cops MINUTES before the guy nearly killed Trump

If this video and the reporting around it is true, it raises about a thousand new questions for the Secret Service and the police to answer.

The original poster says that his phone was confiscated by Pennsylvania Highway Patrol and was only just now returned to him.

Why did they not get Trump off stage?!?
678   AmericanKulak   2024 Jul 30, 8:18pm

Sadly, focus of the attempt on Trump has already turned to a tiny trickle.

It sounds like shooter(s) fired 10 total rounds. 3, then 5, then one, and several seconds later the last one.

The near assasination of Trump is yet another example to the public at how inept the government and its workers (goldbricks with huge pensions) really are.

During the Wuhan pandemic the government trampled on our rights; people actually were fined for being outside in public places.
The government then further trampled on our rights by excluding us from medical facilities, treatment, and even jobs for not adhering to vax and mask "mandates."

The government needlessly shut down businesses, then made inflation worse by providing free money to everyone, although many didn't suffer any loss from the pandemic shut downs (e.g. retired people, doctors, nurses, unemployed, etc.).
PPP and other schemes fueled the fire of inflation further, and was absurd in the first place. I know several people who didn't deserve shit and got PPP money; one is a female from the gym who recently flew to Venice, Italy for a vacation with her PPP money no doubt.

Later the inept government didn't perform its basic task of defending the sovereignty of the USA; the border isn't a real border today, people come across at will.

It's amazing to see for me; I recall some level of competence or at least the appearance of it during my lifetime. Now all I see is a bunch of shitheads running around and worse shitheads talking on MSNBC.

I hope they throw a couple of cops/secret service guys in jail for criminal negligence; I predict the familes of the dead guy will be suing someone soon.

It's bigger than that though. Trump rallies have to have insurance. Those rates likely just increased X10. They could have just put 20 more full time SS agents on his duty and saved money. Now the tax payers are going to eat it and/or the Trump campaign.

Part of me wonders if that was part of the plan. Could prevent him from campaigning in certain locations if he wants to rally in purple/blue areas in swing states. Venues might flat out deny him from an event. Or jack up prices to make it impossible or unlikely to stage an event. People shooting and killing people is kind of problematic for venues.

Very interesting. The Republic's undoing could come down to insurance.

He can't self-insure?

He can't self-insure?

He can but at what cost? I don't know the game. I just know his prices however it's paid for went through the roof. Back of napkin event is probably $100k pre-assassination. Might be $1M now. Not talking deducible either. Someone was killed at his event. Not saying J6 was his fault, but insurance carriers don't care when people are dying with Trump events. They charge more. Or don't give coverage.

You gotta think of all the deep state shit. It's an easy way to get him off the campaign. If he can't campaign in places he needs to then people cannot bitch about voter fraud. They can just say he didn't campaign there. These fuckers are crafty. Factor in the court cases. Assassination. It's obvious as fuck what is going down.

I'm no expert, but afaik self-insurance is either depositing some amount of money into government coffers ($35K in CA if you want to skip carrying a car insurance) or just signing some kind of paper (like Hertz does it). Should be be the same with that event insurance: deposit couple of mil into some escrow acct and you're gtg. If nothing happens you get it back. Could be talking out of my ass, though.

Not a bad idea and maybe they do. The other thing is I don't know if tickets are sold for these rallies. If it's free then someone has to pay the insurance if a tragedy happens or you get sued by an attendee. Usually the person having the event pays something.

Sounds logical. But some of that money is taken regardless otherwise how does the insurance company make money? The amount I have no clue. I was just throwing out numbers.

Either way it's likely to make campaigning more expensive for Trump. He has the money to handle it, but some venues might not allow him and he might not be able to campaign in key locations. I just think it's another avenue to thwart his campaign. They've thrown everything at the guy. Wouldn't be surprised if this is another one.

Whistleblower Exposes Secret Service Cover-Up: Ronald Rowe ‘Personally’ Ordered Agents Cut from Trump Rally

A Secret Service whistleblower has just dropped explosive new allegations to expose a major cover-up at the federal agency regarding the events surrounding the attempted assassination of President Donald Trump.

Secret Service Acting Director Ronald Rowe testified that the agency didn’t cut resources from Trump’s security detail.

However, a whistleblower has now alleged that Rowe “personally directed” agents to be cut from Trump’s protection.

If true, the whistleblower’s allegations mean Rowe lied before Congress.

The whistleblower reportedly provided the information to Republican Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO).

I love that Trump has them running around like headless, lying chickens. I hope that bodes well for his administration.
698   Ceffer   2024 Aug 3, 10:18pm

Pundit Juan O Savin stated that the photographer who used a high frame rate camera, which allegedly recorded a bullet trace past Trump's head at the Pennsylvania killing field, was the same photographer who set up the set piece with the black teacher and black students the day Shrubbie got the ear whisper about the execution of the 9/11 false flag.

So, were the assassins planning to enjoy an extremely slo mo of Trump's head getting splatted? There was absolutely no reason to be using a high frame rate camera in that context.

Was it team Trump who wanted the high frame rate camera to validate the attempt? Was it photoshopped? Curious minds would like to know.
