Cheatle evaded and obfuscated on virtually every question with statements such as "because of an ongoing investigation, I cannot comment on that," etc., etc. However, there was ONE question that she answered without hesitation which was asked by Rep. Nancy Mace. Mace asked:

"Was there a conspiracy to murder Donald Trump?"

Without any hesitation, Cheatle answered with a resounding "NO." How did she know that without conducting a lengthy and precise investigation? Her answer, in my opinion, indicates to me that she was definitely in on the plot and gave a knee jerk, protective answer.
