My comments were quoted in articles online. I wasn't talking about the tatas though, just thought it was fishy that a younger woman would die falling down the stairs. My wife is of similar age as TD was at that time right now and could easily handle a stair fall.
That whole situation sucked. But ultimately it was one crazy SOB that got messed up by something in his head. She was just having fun. She didn't know her husband was a lunatic. I hate this topic as I'm pretty certain family still lurks here.
That's why I say have fun here. Don't take anything seriously new users. There will be some harsh takes. Don't let it bother you. If anything it will thicken your skin. Your friend are friends for a reason. Don't expect to make online friends. Just have fun. I still need to meet @Patrick - I have no CA trips planned though. Hoping it will happen at some point.
The "anonymity" of the internet sometimes causes people to do things that they would never do (i.e. for free) in real life. When the anonymity is compromised, tragedies both great and small ensue. Think before you post.
It used to be that the internet was forever; considering how everything is now being scrubbed, perhaps the public internet no longer has this power. However, ever since 9/11/01, the NSA's goal (revealed by Snowden) was to tap into all internet trunk lines and store everything everyone ever posted on the intarwebs. After 20 years and exabytes of storage at multiple locations, they have pretty much achieved that goal.
@Patrick is right - if you're letting NSA cutouts like Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc. hoover up your postings, then they can tap that resource anytime you lift your head up too high to smack you down to oblivion.
Even if you're innocent of any crime, they can hack into any system using backdoors that they mandated by law and download mass child porn to any computer they want and tip off the FBI to do their shock and awe SWAT thing.
Let's all say hello when people register.
