Video shows Chimney Rock completely destroyed as Helene unleashes catastrophic flooding across North Carolina

Complete devastation has been unfolding in western North Carolina as the remnants of Hurricane Helene unleashed days of flooding rains across the region.

Images from Chimney Rock, located just southeast of Asheville, was one of the many cities destroyed by the historic flooding.

Historic North Carolina village under water after devastating damage from Helene

Fast-moving water surged above front-door steps, inundating buildings and small businesses as Asheville appeared nearly flattened by Helene.

ASHEVILLE, N.C. —A historic village in western North Carolina is under water after bearing the brunt of devastating flooding damage from Hurricane Helene.

Tree branches, logs and a dumpster floated across Asheville’s Biltmore Village, renowned for being built and owned by a single individual.

This seems like the most honest charity for those who want to help the people in North Carolina:

https://www.cajunnavyrelief.com/

The Mission of Cajun Navy Relief is to save lives.

We are a group of volunteers who work tirelessly without pay to provide immediate rescue and relief during natural disasters. Rescue and relief are our way of sharing the South Louisiana cultural tradition of neighbors helping neighbors with people in need across the United States. By integrating civilian volunteers into the Incident Command Structure we can act as a force multiplier for agencies responding to disasters.

I'm not certain that all the money goes to help, but they have a good vibe to them.

Except the Feds are confiscating donations. Except for churches. They can't touch those.

But that's OK, because remember: climate change is a hoax.

It actually is a hoax. We really haven't had that many hurricanes. Farmers are harvesting now here in IL with record crops. No droughts, no flood, nothing. Perfect weather all spring, summer and fall. Just the right amount of rain. Only one tornado just south of me.

This is the first major hurricane to make landfall since Harvey I believe. We go the the Caribbean in October because the rates are cheap. No hurricanes.

It's climate manipulation, not change. A warming earth is better for everyone, people just don't understand. CO2 is better for the earth. Helps plants, crops, etc. It's like no one took a science class and remembers this.

If we had a 100 year rain events every year, then sure, maybe there's a point. That's not happening. We have one off events that always happened and people freak out. Muahhhhh climate change.

The ice caps could 100% melt and it would make no difference. The land changes because of tectonic plates. Has nothing to do with water level. That doesn't change. You could argue the evaporation causes bigger storms, but your beach front home won't be in the sea because of it. The surface of the earth moves. Hell it grows. This is 5th grade science and maybe some college level geology. It's political and lobbying.

From Tucker Carlson network:

If it wasn’t already obvious, the people in charge of America do not care about Americans.

Just look at the government’s response to Hurricane Helene. 160 Americans are dead. Hundreds are still missing.

The American South has been utterly devastated by a natural disaster, and yet if you listen to the people in charge and their lackeys in the corporate media, more important things are going on.

After all, there is armed conflict in foreign nations that are thousands of miles away in the Middle East.

Further, both the president and vice president are simply too busy to care. President Joe Biden is on his umpteenth vacation in Delaware while Vice President Kamala Harris campaigns and fundraises.

Not even Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg has stopped by to see if the region’s infrastructure is holding up. Spoiler alert: it isn’t.

No one in the White House appears to care that millions of Americans are suffering and that potentially thousands could soon die.

If the nonchalance with which this disaster is being treated wasn’t enough to convince you that your rulers hate you, consider the following: the Biden-Harris administration repurposed more than a billion dollars allocated by FEMA for disaster relief to subsidize the room, board, and who knows what else for illegal immigrants.

According to reports, $364 million dollars from fiscal year 2023 and $650 million from fiscal year 2024 have been allocated not for disaster relief but “to provide humanitarian services to noncitizen migrants following their release from the Department of Homeland Security.”

This isn’t just negligence or shortsighted decision-making.

This is a purposeful decision to prioritize noncitizens over the people who actually belong to this country.

This is not even on national scale. 2 days ago, we got an email from the state govt where to get help. Yesterday we get a phone message at 9 at night (we had just gone to bed, exhausted) NOT to drive over fallen wires or inundated streets. Talking about a little too late. Luckily lots of crews offered up weekend and night rest to help us back to electricity, and many locals helped with water and food. Now everything is coming to a close, the govt wakes up.

This needs to go far and wide to put pressure on the government to do the right thing and save lives.

This evening, from a Peak Prosperity member to me via PM at my site:
Them: I can't post this online because it's not quite public yet, but
government officials had a town meeting with all of the residents of
chimney rock and basically told them the town was being bulldozed,
bodies and all and the land was being seized by the federal government
they would not be able to move back and basically their homes the ones
that were standing were no longer theirs and the federal government
owned it all. I don't know what crazy play for land this is, but there's a lot
of conspiracy about lithium mines and let me just tell you, as someone
who lives in Charlotte and has friends who live in the area of Western
North Carolina, they are not being helped and this is actually being a
stand down operation by federal government

Me: What the heck..? That's quite disturbing. Is this first-hand, second-
hand, or more distant info?

Them: Our friend owns an Airbnb in Chimney Rock. They had a town
meeting yesterday and someone from the federal government told them
all of those things in the town meeting, but doesn't want the information
getting out. Also, they are not picking up the bodies. The stench of the
bodies everywhere is insane and for some reason, the government does
not want to pick up the bodies. One pastor of a local church was going to
order to door delivering water and they changed their delivery request to
body bags because so many of the homes that they've gone to have
needed body bags, we're trying to keep the body count. ...
37   AmericanKulak   2024 Oct 3, 2:37pm

I suspect 90% of the reason is to delay things until they get money to overpay "Preferred Vendors" like Service Corporation International to collect the dead bodies.

"You can't deliver aid, we need to wait for an emergency authorization so we can pay Sysco to deliver reheated corn starch snacks."
38   goofus   2024 Oct 3, 3:02pm

I went looking for church groups to donate to, based on posts/tweets that fema was confiscating donations, requiring ‘training’ with United Way, and generally getting in the way. They can’t by law confiscate church-raised funds.

I sent money here. Looks hardcore Christian, but those groups might most reliable at times like this:

Didn't think the weather manipulation technology was that old, didja? And, it's only gotten more sophisticated, powerful and technologically advanced since then.

We need to be careful of getting swept up by sensationalism in these reports. No doubt there is are foreign interests seeking to agitate things domestically.
I was going to suggest that the "preferred vendors" angle be examined but AK beat me to it. If proven true it would be to prosecute the bolshenists.
53   AmericanKulak   2024 Oct 3, 9:15pm

We can also consider the "Spent the FEMA money on Fakefugees" angle. I imagine the Biden regime does not want to ask Congress for money and FEMA couldn't get through a hurricane season because they spent it all on Illega;s
54   Ceffer   2024 Oct 3, 9:43pm

Just wait until they claim there is a 3 billion dollar relief and restoration fund for optics and you don't see any of that, either.

55   Ceffer   2024 Oct 3, 10:48pm

What about hostile occupation for eminent domain don't they understand? I wonder when the NATO policing troops and enforcers are going to show up. They've just been Gaza'd and Lahaina'd (and Santa Rosa'd, Paradise'd etc. etc.).

56   Ceffer   2024 Oct 3, 11:03pm

Why go to all that trouble and expense of condemnation and eminent domain litigations when mercenary availability of technology weapons can do it for you very quickly, and then persecute the survivors until they get the message and leave, maybe with some pittance? Power to the psychopaths.

57   AmericanKulak   2024 Oct 3, 11:47pm

Apparently, FEMA is denying $750 in emergency money to anybody with homeowner's insurance, while insisting the $750 is to cover immediate needs on their "Rumor busting" subsection of their website.
58   Ceffer   2024 Oct 4, 2:02am

Why would the Jesuits do something stupid like that?

59   Ceffer   2024 Oct 4, 2:13am

Is there an ulterior motive to start civil war by igniting a shooting war between FEMA/DHS and the residents of the affected area? The government entities are bent on preventing aid from reaching the area. The logical conclusion is to start shooting the government entities. It would be constitutional to do so.
If the Globalistas can't get their corridor, then they get civil war. Another win/win for the Globalists?

Remember how they purposely funneled drivers in Lahaina at the water front into a dead end to trap them in the fires?

60   Ceffer   2024 Oct 4, 2:22am

The difference between this the previous imposed atrocities like Lahaina is that so many know what this is out of the chute (weather weapons, land grab), no delayed discovery phase, it is called right away. The grace period for the demonic forces is gone. It means that at least some of the afflicted have a fighting chance by recognizing that the enemy is FEMA/DHS and whatever misbegotten plague of demons they bring with them.

The first thing about being attacked is you have to know you are being attacked and by whom.

62   Ceffer   2024 Oct 4, 2:33am

It's another mass sacrifice massacre to Satan. The more death and suffering, the better.

Having my FAA drone license, Butthole is completely wrong. It's almost an impossibility that a drone would collide with aircraft which most certainly is going to be helicopters. The airflow from the chopper for lift would blow away a drone. If hit from the bottom that a huge nothing burger.

They don't want people seeing the damage and what they aren't doing as you mention. No drones means no accountability. I'm just calling out the nativity of our supposed transportation fag. He also doesn't understand, it seems, that most consumer and prosumer drones can be bricked in a no fly zone via software. The FAA can just put out a notice and the companies send out the update.

I know better, but live near an airport. Was flying in a forest preserve (against the rules for the FP) and was flying below 400'. Then I fucking saw a plane on approach. Was far enough away and the plane was probably at 1k' altitude, but I started taking it more seriously after that.

The problem with most drone people is they're buried in the screen trying to get cool shots. You HAVE to keep sight of the drone and always be aware of anything else in the air. Video footage is the toughest for this but doable. You can drop 400' in 20 seconds, so you can get out of the way. The highest I ever went was 1,900' out in MT. I was still below 400' AGL which is the law.

Sorry to derail for a second there. Pretty much everyone where the flood happened is fucked as others have said and I think I did too already. No flood insurance. You either have the cash or don't. With the Hawaii thing most homes with a loan have insurance that cover fire. These people cannot rebuild their houses in most cases. Most of the areas are generally pricey. Building soon (still... FML) and it's not cheap. Even if you build cheap and GC on your own, you're looking at $300k for a 3/2.

My grading on my lot says I shouldn't flood, but I might get the insurance after this. Since it's not in a flood plain it should be cheap. None of these people thought they'd see floods like this.
67   Tenpoundbass   2024 Oct 4, 6:53am

What if FEMA still has cash on hand, but they need to reserve it, so they will have the cash on hand to pay out the ballot mules and head busters, keeping poll watchers away from the ballot tallying?
