Most people don't read anyway unless it's email. I know this is for a Canadian school, but generally doesn't much matter. The hockey players for sure don't read. As adults I'd say only 10% of the population actually reads books anymore.

The other thing is most of history is not accurate. Think slavery. Not Canadian, but most of the history of slavery is not what people think it was. Hollywood and cinema hyperbolized it. Most blacks at that time couldn't read or write. So it was leftie white people at the time writing it making the history of it. Free food, lodging and a job. Most would have died because of low intelligence. They were also assets no different than a renal property. Why tear it down or damage it yourself? Tangent over.

Also are they going to remove classic fiction books like Lord of The Rings? Where little people (hobbits) save Middle Earth from the dark skinned Orcs and Sauron with the help of all white fair skinned Elves and dirty white dwarves.

I also don't know what Canadians think inclusiveness is. Outside of the Nordic areas, it's probably close to the whitest countries on the planet. Black and dark skinned people don't like winter or white people except the properly educated blacks. By default DEI is dead upon arrival by design. You can't force it. They're a white country, just own it.

Trump is a GOD-LEVEL Troller. "Great State of Canada", that's hilarious.

LOL! Trump isn't talking conquest, but he is probably indexing the dissatisfaction of at least the middle three provinces who may have made overtures already along the lines of annexing. The most northerly three provinces would put zoned up to the 'battle of the Arctic' and its resources.

Tell the 'muricans that Canada is on sale - $0.70 to the USD and dropping as we speak.

A little more depreciation and the strip clubs in St. Catherines will be hopping with Yanks. Talk about an American injection of aid. . .

Totally the wrong flag. If one wants to cite history, one must be accurate.

Canada was never a real country for much of it's history.

That's why when you talk to a Canadian about politics, they almost always define themselves by how they are not American vs by anything that defines them as uniquely Canadian.

And even when they try that, they flub it as so ^^^^.

Lol. We can easily cut them off, cut them off trade wise and they're then broke. Energy is about is about the only real value Canada can produce. We're independent. We turn off the pipes coming in and they lose 20% GDP. They can't ship it across the Atlantic or Pacific cheaper than we can. It would be a fatal error.

I hate the word tariff. Think of it as marketing to sell your product in a county that actually has money or the key demo. It would be like owning a billboard and not charging the person. Who does that? We do and have. They can pay a fee for access, it's not a big deal. Politicians that never ran a business don't understand this concept. Candoa won't raise prices because we won't buy it. So if they want to sell stuff they have to eat it.

"Oh no, here comes the Dudley Dooright 1st Company of the RCMP. The only armed force Canada can muster in 48 hours."

I think of it as, we own the mall and we own most of the stores inside. Why would we allow competitors to compete against our own stores in the mall that we own and not charge them a percentage of sales like almost any retail property owner in a high demand area does?

Quebec would never join the US (they're descended from frogs, so go figure, although the frenchies are the best looking strippers). All of the non-woke provinces would jump at the chance but would never be let free (Alberta is the TX of Canada and funds every other province).

No. The federal government does. And not every province gets funding until recently.

https://deputypm.canada.ca/en/news/news-releases/2022/12/16/federal-government-announces-record-transfers-provinces-and

Back in the 00's and '10s, the Feds did take a lot of tax revenues from Alberta to finance the transfers to the rest. But that has dried up and provinces like Ontario and Quebec also were transitioning from being net contributors to being a net receivers due to demographic collapse.

Ottawa saw this coming. In fact, it contributed to that decline with its greentardation inflicted upon Alberta. This is why they massively ramped up immigration over the past ten or so years. They needed the wage slaves to prop up the system and to reduce their dependence on raping mostly just one province.

But it caused a spike of unaffordable housing AND a hit on middle class wages (Canada only accepts skilled immigrants).

So the main contention that drove the Albertan independence movement went away and the big population provinces (those with Toronto, Vancouver and Montreàl) once again are net contributors.

For now. If the immigrants return to India on retirement, that's a big plus for Canada. The Chinese ones will likely stay. Immigrants also have higher birthrate, usually.

Of course, Canada will no longer be Canada after that. Just like California already is no longer California anymore.

Look to Canada letting Ukrainian refugees pour in after @socal2 's "greatest military on Earth!" are finally routed. Ukrainian is already spoken more than French in Canada as it is.

He fired her from her post as FM but wanted her to stay on in 'another role'. But she has left the cabinet entirely, instead.

It's causing a shockwave in Canada because, everyone knows she was the one who is really running the country and telling Trudy what to do/say. Perhaps Trudy was told by others that the Party needs her 'put away' because of this perception going into next year elections.

Either that, or she's going to make a leadership challenge against him herself. For standing as the PM candidate in said election.
