Mine is on wood. I just installed a faraday screen around it. A directly wired trigger could set it off, but the screen will prevent it radiating into the house or receiving remote signals, I hope.

This is why I keep my golf cart outside and always will. Where I park it, nothing will catch on fire. The smart meter thing is new info to me. You've got me paranoid now.

Best man in my wedding is in the fire industry. Golf trips he immediately unplugs the coffee maker and toaster. He'll unplug them in friends houses. His dad's house has a sprinkler system. That level of fire safety.

There are vids of houses in these burns right next to each other. The smart meter homes burned, the ones without smart meters stood. One has to wonder if it isn't just the lithium battery, but energy being pulsed by EMP through the meter into the wires of the house as well as stated. Faraday cage at least cuts down the EMP element, or prevents the EMP from igniting the battery, or keep the meter from pulsing EMP into the residents of the house.
