Sikhs are mobilizing humanitarian aid in Los Angeles following devastating wildfires that have impacted the city.

Gurdwaras & Sikh orgs, like Khalsa Aid, have led efforts to provide various supplies to shelters, firefighters, & civilians.

"So far in the initial 36 hours we have partnered with Pan Pacific Recreation Center, The Reality Center, Black Lantern, YMCA Koreatown, Silverlake Lounge, All Saints Episcopal Church, Arcardia Community Center, Friends in Deed, and Fearless Church,"
@KhalsaAidUSA
shares with Baaz. These organizations are helping evacuees from the fires with basic needs that have been supplied in part by Sikhs.

Aid has included water, sandwiches, hot meals, blankets and pillow sets, feminine hygiene products, medication for both adults and kids, first aid kits, and non perishable goods.

Efforts also now include making 500+ hot meals for delivery tonight to first responders and fire fighters.

In addition to supplies, Sikhs have "been on the ground helping distribution centers run resources to evacuation centers and shelters - essentially being manpower when not out buying more supplies and rations," Khalsa Aid shares.

Oh great there's no water to fight the fires. So have everyone stand around eating sandwiches and noodle salad, while the encroaching fire spreads and catches up to them and devours them along with their curry picnic.

I jest, that's nice of them..

But water availability aside, how come they aren't using those huge planes that used to scoop up water in the belly to drop on remote fires, or even those huge helicopters with the water bucket. Are there no large enough bodies of water anywhere near the fire? Did the Liberals remove every drop of water, or just made their hydrant plumbing useless?

Canada sent one of those super scooper planes to help, but it was taken out and grounded by a drone.

And with the Liberal Arson season in full swing for the last 5 or 6 years. I don't understand why America doesn't have about ten of them.

California alone should have that many.

I am hearing lot about that this is arson.
This is cruel to burn somebody's homes.If this is the case there should be strict action.

Can Trump investigate and prosecute? FBI should be in his control.

It's not just this year. Every year there is more than enough evidence to point to arson. Usually the fires are all accessible from a single stretch of highway. Where some ecoterrorist can drive to one section start a fire, then drive 10 miles down the road and start another, then so on and so on. And just like this year, there are always witnesses that say they someone setting fires, only for the police to say, "nah, they were just chilling and making a sandwich".
