FAP FAP FAP. The idea in the Cold War days was spread anti-Communist, pro-US ideals.

A key founder of the Muslim Brotherhood went to the Colorado School of Mines and only became more radicalized by seeing "Buckarettes" riding horses to the school (which had a teacher's college attached) in their jeans. And arms-length ballroom dancing between unmarried people, HARAM! This was back in the 50s.

So many of the 9/11 hijackers didn't get "unradicalized" from Islamicism by going to American/European colleges in the 80s and 90s.

Something like a quarter of all Mainland Chinese students report back to handlers regularly according to CCP defectors, last one was like 2021.

So why are we losing seats to International Students and why at both Private and State Universities is the taxpayer underwriting $1 of it?

Just don't allow Chicoms to go to American universities as most are grad students and are funded with grad research assistant (GRA) scholarships from the University. Just recruit more from India, Indonesia, Nigeria, etc.

People have been complaining about the English abilities of foreign stinky grad students for decades.

"But he passed a written test of English."
Yeah, written, not spoken. Some find calculus or chemistry hard enough without having to be taught by somebody who is barely comprehensible.

"The doing of the Abo cado's number is vehy eccential..."

Why recruit from abroad? State schools subsidized by taxpayers certainly should be prohibited from doing so beyond a token amount.

I had exactly this problem in calculus freshman year with a Chinese TA.

At U. Michigan, foreign students, often from Hong Kong, paid full-price tuition so they were far more profitable than us plebes who merely lived in the state and got reduced tuition because we or our parents paid taxes there.

Michigan, like all state schools, wants the tax money and the full-tuition foreigners. Given the choice, they would have excluded all Michigan residents in favor of the Chinese.

While demanding tax payers increase the money granted to the institution year after year

(I got rid of the rest because I went into a long sidebar)

Many Professors want the paid research time but not the obligation to teach. And of course admins just want to reign over a bigger empire.

True, and if they bring in enough grant money from the gov't, they can usually get away without teaching much or at all.

But now that's under threat, especially since the Trump administration is limiting the overhead to 15%. Grants won't be as wildly profitable if 85% of them has to be spent on research.

https://www.breitbart.com/border/2025/04/20/new-mexico-democrat-judge-resigns-after-ice-arrests-alleged-tren-de-aragua-gang-member-in-his-home/

Federal prosecutors in the District of New Mexico allege that 23-year-old Cristhian Ortega-Lopez was illegally in possession of a firearm and has ties to the hyperviolent Venezuelan gang, Tren de Aragua. Earlier this year, President Donald Trump and the U.S. State Department declared the gang to be a foreign terrorist organization.

Police arrested Orgega-Lopez while executing a search warrant on February 28 at the home of Dona Ana County, New Mexico, Magistrate Judge Joel Cano and his wife, Nancy, the Albuquerque Journal reported this week. The report follows a detention hearing where prosecutors claim the illegal alien is a flight risk and an alleged Tren de Aragua gang member.

Cano, a former police officer, allowed Ortega-Lopez to file a request for immigration relief using the judge’s residential address. Court exhibits also posted social media posts of the foreign national posing with the judge. ...

The photos and videos showed Ortega-Lopez displaying Tren de Aragua gang tattoos. The United States government recently declared this violent gang to be a Transnational Criminal Organization.

Mohsen Mahdawi was in school for 17 years on a student visa.

No degrees.

Tell me again what he has been doing it here.

The 34-year old on a student visa for 17 years was leading a destabilization operation on behalf of Fatah. I guarantee him and/or his wife were getting EBT or TANF or NYS benefits, too

If they have a forged lease it may take even longer than that.

Wrong image. You can't deport 20K people per day in military cargo planes. The proper image would feature trains going into ports with ships waiting.

They walked and swam all the way from South America - they can certainly walk all the way to the Mexican border.

If they've grown too fat on Biden's free shit, we can roll them to the border with the assistance of cattle prods.

OK, how about a fleet of turbocharged bulldozers pushing a mile-wide mass of illegals into the Rio Grande?

Nah, it was low crime (except places like NY) vs. now until the demonrats were successful in changing the immigration laws in the 60s.

The Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965, also known as the Hart-Celler Act, was a significant piece of legislation that changed U.S. immigration policies in the 1960s. This act abolished the National Origins Formula, which had been in place since the 1920s and favored immigrants from Western and Northern Europe.

We went from a high trust society to a low trust society.

True, I just expected bulldozed illegals to swim for their lives once they're pushed in. After all, they did it once before in the opposite direction?

https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2025/04/happy-ending-guatemalan-illegal-alien-deported-after-attacking/

An endangered Great White Heron has fully recovered from an emergency surgery after a fisherman pelted it with a rock at Bill Baggs State Park in Key Biscayne, Florida, in January.

The rock broke the bird’s wing and reportedly caused the bird to bleed heavily.

The man who threw the rock, Edgar Estuardo Valenzuela, was arrested after he admitted to the act of animal cruelty, which under Florida law typically carries a punishment of prison time or a hefty fine.

However, when he was discovered to be an illegal alien from Guatemala, police were able to kill two birds with one stone, so to speak, by stopping the perpetrator and promptly deporting him.

This is indeed a happy ending.

https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2025/04/27/colorado-nightclub-dea-investigation/83315545007/

More than 100 people who are allegedly in the U.S. unlawfully were arrested in an overnight raid at an underground nightclub in east-central Colorado, the Drug Enforcement Administration said.

At least 114 people were detained and placed on "buses for processing and likely eventual deportation" in Colorado Springs on April 27, according to the DEA's Rocky Mountain Division. The arrests were part of an enforcement operation and drug investigation involving over 300 officers and agents from federal and local agencies, said DEA Rocky Mountain Division Special Agent in Charge Jonathan Pullen.

"This is an underground illegal nightclub," Pullen said at a news conference on April 27. "What was happening inside was significant drug trafficking, prostitution, (and) crimes of violence. We seized a number of guns in there."
