ABC News (streaming channel) said the helicopter impacted the plane at 300 ft and it should have been hovering at 200 ft based on the Army helicopter protocol in that area.

Yeah, ATC asked her if she saw the plane and she might have mistaken a plane that was taking off for the plane that was landing. She was on visual and the other aircraft were on instrument approach.

They said the NTSB is reviewing the black box from the Army Blackhawk helicopter. Would the black box also have the audio recording of the cockpit ?
If there is concern the Blackhawk was hacked, I wonder if this relates to what some experts said about the USS John McCain collision.

Will try not to derail too much but I agree with this 1,000%. The NFL specifically is the reason I stopped watching sport besides maybe golf or tennis. Those sports you have to win to make money and don't have a contract. You pay for your own flight every tournament. Basically 1099 types.
Contracted athletes can easily throw games and make money doing it. Think of the leverage an NFL kicker has on the game. Or an NBA star has an "off" night and knows the spread or point total. Their sponsors can be the ones gambling and it look legit as part of their agreement, but the player threw it and get a legal check for services.
Halftime shows can eat shit. I've never been entertained by one. Commercials aren't funny when I have watched or clever. I know there will already be Taylor Swift drinking games when she gets shown on the screen and everyone will be hammered. I'm out of touch with the NFL and have no clue who the halftime act even is. I don't care. I'll be in Mexico and won't watch it.

Wonder what happened like the helicopter was in an emergency or the pilots were that disoriented at night. They are pro's flying those helicopters in all types of weather and conditions and not have all the latest navigation technology.
Just heard on ABC News that people have been pulled alive out of the Potomac River. Now I am hearing the air traffic controller told the helicopter to fly behind the American Eagle aircraft that was landing.
