That 45 million excess is across all of the nearly 1.5 billion Indians. In specific provinces, the sex ratio disparity is approaching 70/30 M/F.

Worse than in China.

Dial up internet is dead now? Telegraphs were still able to be sent as late as the 1970s.

This is echoed in marriage vows; "In sickness and in heath . . . "

A large part of the problem today is neopagan philosophies. Pagans believed that the sick and the deformed were being punished by the gods for whateverthefuck reason and should be shunned and left to die.

Christians triumphed over paganism largely because they followed the Corporal Works of Mercy: feed the hungry, tend to the sick, etc.. The scamdemic was a textbook example of how far our nation has reverted to paganism. The sick were the problem - this is pure paganism.

Well actually the scamdemic made everybody “the problem”. And the only solution was to stay away from everyone until they could inject you with an experimental biological agent.

Oh and if you had to be near people everyone including the healthy had to wear a mask that doesn’t filter out viruses, to protect everyone from viruses. It made perfect sense.

Craigslist would be second on that list were it public.

I don't know since they started charging to post. CL in all 3 counties in South Florida only has about 6 or 7 posts and most are over a month old. Cars and Housing section does OK I guess. And any sections that does have a smattering of daily posts. They are the same reposts going back as far as 8 months ago.
I remember when CL South Florida on most all sections would scroll for several pages for each day.
I was just looking in the Community section to see if any No Kings protests are planned around my area. I wanted to drive by and heckle their dumb asses. But every community section is a ghost town. Politics doesn't have one single post on the whole page. \

At this point MySpace is more relevant today than Craigslist. At least some people still talk about MySpace.

God. Whenever I see a reference to MySpace that Tila Tequila song pops up into my brain:

I ain't tryin' to fuck ya man
lookin' at my myspace, lotion in his hand
when he look at you, he be thinkin' 'bout me
Take your Benz back bitch now I got the key!

The post shares a sepia photo of a 1st-century BCE Roman lead boiler and pipe system from Villa della Pisanella in Boscoreale, Italy, preserved intact by the 79 CE Vesuvius eruption, highlighting Roman engineering ingenuity.

This hypocaust boiler, used for underfloor heating in elite villas, demonstrates advanced hydraulics with solder joints and valves, akin to contemporary water systems but reliant on wood-fired heat.

Excavations in 1904 revealed the villa's luxury features; peer-reviewed analyses in the Journal of Roman Archaeology affirm its rarity, with calcium carbonate linings likely reducing lead leaching health risks.

It's almost as if we went to total race-neutrality, most of the political problems would fix themselves.

I heard it was 3.7 cents cost per penny, not 37 cents.

Every state split in half by population – the densest half and least dense half.
