Craft beer prices have gone stupid at $2 per can or more. Better to buy 9% dipa for cost savings,
on to Bourbon $23 will buy a 750 of Old Forrester best bang for the buck, If you can find 114 proof
old grand dad or any 114 proof bourbon under $30 go for it.
East Oregon update it's 95 outside it's best to avoid....haha

Napoleon brandy at Trader Joe's has been $10 for 750 ml for years now.

Bogle red wines are all $7 to $9 there, seems pretty constant too.

No for some reason Budweiser products are more expensive, than the typical imports used to be in comparison.
For example I can find Becks and Saint Paully girl for 11.99 or 12.99 at corner stores and grocery stores. Where Budweiser products are 15.99 to 18.99 for a 12 pack.

Branding and college kids. There are a few young beer connoisseurs but most stick to what they get ad wise and see pushed in the prime spot at the store. I like both those beers but they're generally hidden in most stores.

80-90% of people just want to bring something and get a buzz. Not really about flavor. I rarely drink it, but will bring Corona or other legit Mexican beers to a pool party with limes. I can't shift too far from my staple beer or I will be hungover. Crappy beer by most standards, but I've never had a hangover from Busch Light regardless of how much I've had. I'm not going into numbers.....
